BOTTOM LINE Question: If Ohio State came to the SEC, ACC and Big XII and asked for two or three games in each conference, what would happen?
If I were deciding things, I would say "HELL YEA" and I'd go further to say that the if they actually say frick YOU to the liberal Big Ten douchebags, the Buckeyes would have "honorary Southern Football status" that would last for a generation.
Nebraska Hopes 'It May be Possible' to Play Fall Football After Big Ten Postpones Season
Also, I just heard on Columbus NewsRadio this evening... it was reported that incoming OSU President Kristina M. Johnson SUPPORTS finding other options to PLAY football now that the B1G has decided to bail on the Fall.
The announcer went on to say that Ohio State is one of a handful of programs such that an autumn without football is all but inconceivable

Nebraska's reaction isn't shocking considering Frost echoed a similar sentiment in a press conference Monday.
"Our university is committed to playing no matter what, no matter what that looks like and how that looks. ...We certainly hope it's in the Big Ten. If it isn't, I think we're prepared to look for other options," he said.

Frost was among an intense lobbying campaign around the Big Ten to hold the 2020 football season as scheduled. Ohio State head coach Ryan Day also said the Buckeyes would explore other playing options if needed, while Michigan's Jim Harbaugh penned a letter urging the conference to play football this fall.

No! There is no playing other conference! That is the goal! Keep it as simple as possible! Trying to make things worst is not a good idea!

No. As much as they might want to be, The Ohio State University isn't in The South.

Yes absolutely. Need to have a legit national champ at the end. So OSU and Michigan need to play. And Nebraska and Iowa St can play with the Big 12...just like old times.

Let them and Nebraska in for the season. If anything, it would provide so interesting storylines and we get to see how they can handle a full SEC schedule.

I’d love to see a sneak peak of what would happen if the big boy’s all made a super conference like many have suggested through the years.
14 SEC teams
OSU
Nebraska
Michigan
UT
Oklahoma
Pull in 5 other teams and have a 24 team super conference. Four 6 team divisions.
5 division games
2 teams from each other division
Division winners to semis and then a national championship. Max 13 game schedule and no doubt who the best is.

No. Fix your own conference or go rogue but don't expect to come here for a year or two then run back to your old conference once things have calmed down.

a little more to my day driving through Ohio... this morning, as Glenn Beck went out of range, I pushed 'seek' on the AM dial (near Marion, OH) and it settled on a guy saying:
"so Nebraska Coach Scott Frost is considering finding other options to play Autumn Football, now that the Big Ten has cancelled the 2020 season."
I thought to myself that this would be interesting, to hear these local Big Ten guys talk this issue, so I turned the volume higher.
And forgive me if I get some details wrong, as I NEVER listen to sports talk radio, particularly because almost ALL of the national hosts are hard-core, "woke", liberal douchebags...
but it was NOT a local host, it was Dan Patrick and he responded with, basically: "How dare Nebraska make such a move against the Big Ten? Who does Nebraska think they are? In fact, with the poor academics of Nebraska, I don't see them as a good fit in the Big Ten. And this coach.. he was a QB who somehow made it to head coach.. not exactly the brightest mind in the athletic department there."
[paraphrasing above... statements by low-IQ Dan Patrick and his douchebag sidekick]

Patrick is probably as much of a left-wing nutcase as his old buddy, Keith Olbermann.

No thanks to the SEC. I already think letting Mizzou in was a stretch. Bring in UL (Louisville) and FSU.

Abso-fricking-lutely, I'd let them in. Nebraska, too. And Utah, and anyone else wanting to nut up and play.
Solidarity, brothers.
And if the "home state" wants to give them grief, have them work out an exchange program for a semester.
Come to LSU or Alabama as a "cultural opportunity" , let them play in Tiger Stadium (or BDS) when the "real" home team is away as a visitor.
They can wear their traditional uniforms, but put a patch for both the SEC and the host school on the jersey.
They could be the "Buckeyes Ambassador exchange program at Louisiana State University, as presented by the SEC, the home of College Football in America".
In return, we can get LSU to play a future OOC game at their home stadium... but it wouldn't be against Ohio State. We'd be the defacto Home Team, against someone they don't like (hey, maybe Michigan ). Invite all the Buckeye fans to come root for the Tigers to beat somebody's arse for them.

I object!!
Seriously, that 5-way is good... especially when sprinkled with Tabasco. Or.. Skyline occasionally offers habernero-cheddar, or very occasionally, fried jalapenos (similar to the fried onions in green bean casserole),
GOOD shite!!
But your argument is wrong anyway, as that is a Cincinnati dish, and not a Columbus thing.

quote:Absolutely not. We do not take revenue from SEC schools to benefit another ooc school. I think the SEC should play their 10 games and crown a fricking champ.

Hell no. But they can watch our games on TV and help the ratings.
