I’m not sure if you’re saying that I shouldn’t care, or that Larry Ellison shouldn’t have cared. Can you help me understand what you’re getting at? Not an attack, just want to make sure I understand.

DJT has taught Rubio how to win and not give an inch to left.

He's VP. His only job duty is to stand around until the Senate needs his vote or the President dies.

Rubio is a career politician. He's been running for president for years now.

Give me a fresh politician who isn't making his/her career on politics alone.

Rubio - Foreign policy wonk, understands Fortress America and what looms ahead, probably pretty orthodox (GOPe) in natural governing inclinations, though.

Vance - Intelligent, very aware of niche elements of the conservative movement and willing to lean into them. If you think America has major systemic issues and want to see a national reckoning on them - Vance is your pick.

DeSantis - Smart, exceptional manager, balances growth with culture. Candidly, I don't see a substantive area where I'd prefer Rubio to DeSantis. Rubio may be the better "candidate" and is probably the better foreign policy guy, but if the question was just "you get to pick the President" I'd take DeSantis over Rubio 10/10 times (and I like Rubio).

Vance or DeSantis would be tough for me.

I will vote for the Republican ticket. End of story.

Either of these gentlemen are infinitely more intelligent than Kamala or Newsom.

I don't really trust JD. I think he is a chameleon and I have no idea what he believes. But, he is pretty smart. I don't love the Palantir connections. He is the perfect guy to LARP as MAGA while ushering in a new surveillance state. He says the right things about war. I'm not sure I believe them.

I can't get over Rubio's neocon past.

I love Ron, I think he's a great leader. I don't think he has the charisma to win, though. And, I mean, he loves our greatest ally almost more than anyone.

Gang of 8 Rubiio. Y'all forget too easily.

I think a lot of them are either too young to remember or they just started following politics because of Trump so they missed Marco's debut in Washington.

Vance is not fit to be president.
Rubio is at least capable of rational thought when it comes to foreign affairs.
Vance is a phony and tries to mimick a Trump persona at times, but comes off as a pale imitation and bootlicker…
