Side Note, she's also an LSU alum

Pretty sure that Olivier was only British in citizenship
I couldn't find anything to the contrary, either. However, MGM files contain this tidbit about Olivier's strong conservative views.
The son of a high church Anglican, Olivier was a lifelong Conservative. In 1983, he wrote to congratulate Margaret Thatcher following her victory in that year's General Election.
Also, Olivier was a supporter of President Reagan and Reagan hosted a dinner in his honor along with Olivier's guest, Joan Plowright.

Dorothy Malone...
That one hurts. The little librarian scene in The Big Sleep nearly stole the whole movie, and that's saying something, because Lauren Bacall was an absolute smokeshow back then.

You are correct . Reagan was a democrat at one time. Once he was being questioned by Sam Donaldson about always blaming the democrats for the problems we were facing . Donaldson asks to Reagan “ shouldn’t you take some of the blame “
Reagan “ yes I should take some of the responsibility , I used to be a democrat “
Even Donaldson laughed

Many actors/actresses had dual citizenships. Elizabeth Taylor had dual citizenship in both the U.S. and England, for example. Audrey Hepburn had dual.
Bob Hope was British, he immigrated with his parents when he was a kid.

I loved him as John Wayne's sidekick, "Drago", in "McClintock!". Great movie.

Cesar Romero was a leftist and praised Castro.
From the Los Angeles Times:
Romero was a registered Republican and he appeared in the Nixon-Lodge bumper sticker motorcade campaign in October 1960, and four years later, initially supported Henry Cabot Lodge, Jr. in the write-in campaign supporting Lodge for president. Romero appreciated and said he liked Lodge's strong anti-Communist stance in South Vietnam where Lodge was at the time the United States ambassador. Later that year, Romero supported Barry Goldwater in the general election.

Old School Democrats are nothing like the pronoun-loving clowns you see today.
My grandma was an old-school democrat. The things she had to say about blacks, welfare, and punks would make Pat Buchanon blush.

For those curious about which actors and actresses were members of or were involved with the U.S. Communist Pary, take a look at the following from the hearings of the House Un-American Committee that were held in 1947.
The following transcript of an excerpt from the interrogation of screenwriter John Howard Lawson by HUAC chairman J. Parnell Thomas gives an example of the tenor of some of the exchanges (in my opinion, this Lawson person was most definitely involved in the Communist Party as were many screenwriters back in those days):
Thomas: Are you a member of the Communist Party or have you ever been a member of the Communist Party?
Lawson: It's unfortunate and tragic that I have to teach this committee the basic principles of Americanism.
Thomas: That's not the question. That's not the question. The question is – have you ever been a member of the Communist Party?
Lawson: I am framing my answer in the only way in which any American citizen can frame his answer to ...
Thomas: Then you deny it?
Lawson: ... a question that invades his ... absolutely invades his privacy.
Thomas: Then you deny ... You refuse to answer that question, is that correct?
Lawson: I have told you that I will offer my beliefs, my affiliations and everything else to the American public and they will know where I stand as they do from what I have written.
Thomas: Stand away from the stand ...
Lawson: I have written for Americanism for many years ...
Thomas: Stand away from the stand ...
Lawson: And I shall continue to fight for the Bill of Rights, which you are trying to destroy.
Thomas: Officer, take this man away from the stand
