The End of College and Pro Sports
WND is a very conservative web site. The perceived outcome is very possible at the rate it's going. And this doesn't even take the Covid into consideration.

I’ll be honest.. watching sports is one of my biggest hobbies but it would be humorous to see some of these athletes have to get real jobs. Making 20 million dollars a year to catch a ball when you read at a 3rd grade level doesn’t seem fair.

I'll gladly take it ending instead of becoming yet another national stage for pushing marxist ideologies to the audience.

Won’t bother me one damn bit if all professional sports ended forever. Long overdue.

This
I have already mentally prepared to no longer watch
I never watched sports for a constant barrage of kill all white people chanting

I will not watch or support athletes that hate me for the color of my skin.

frick it. Shut it all down. Let em make a way on other merits and see how that works.

When these athletes realize no play, no pay they will make the season happen.

I stopped watching sports in 2017

I was done with the NFL when the kneeling began. I’m done with LSU when the Spineless admin cowered to the BLM mob and showed public support for the anti-American, anti-white, terrorist hate group.

The article isn't wrong. Why would I continue to watch any sport when the owners down to the players have personal disdain for me, the fan? Sports viewing is a leisure time activity, I didn't attend the college team I root for, I have no ties to the institution, walking away is easy to do. Get your shite together, start showing some respect to the viewer and I might (a big might) come back to the game.

They’ve outlived their usefulness

This would probably be pretty damn bad for all those businesses that significantly depend on these sporting events. Can't even imagine what this would do to some locales that have expanded significantly and don't necessarily have alternative sources to keep businesses afloat, not to mention the tax revenue it pumps into these locations.

What?? You wouldn't miss that half-retard, Lebron James lecturing you from time to time?

It’s true and will be sad to see.
Kind of like how many small American towns were destroyed by a changing economic landscape.
It happens. It’s hard. But it’s what happens when an industry shifts or dies.

Quit watching pro sports a while back. Will quit watching LSU if they want to put politics into college sports as well. More time for hunting and fishing.

I did attend the team I root for. My relationship with my school was a close one. But I would walk away in a New York second if they turn games into a SJW rally.
