I can't belive people are so invested in other people getting fired. It's unreal to watch.
Probably because of the ones who have put themselves out there to get people invested via social media. The ones who have a scene with posts of themselves crying, cursing, and carrying on have put a magnifying glass on the whole situation.

All of this is going to lead to millions of additional Democrat votes in the midterms.
I hope you've created a macro for this by now.
10 million, right?

These people wouldn't last a month in private sector which is why they are career federal government employees which btw is nothing but a 'jobs' program for people who aren't smart enough to work in private sector. Sounds harsh but its just reality and we have many examples of this and DOGE has exposed it.
This is a bullshite narrative that you are pushing. The majority of Ricky Bobby blue collar workers don’t have the knowledge required to pass a federal employment job specific exam. They wouldn’t even know what the hell to do or where to start.
Stop defending incompetent leadership.

What's unreal to watch is a bunch of entitled crybabies whine and complain about doing something as simple as going back into the office a few days a week or responding to an email. These people haven't been doping jack shite and those two simple things exposed it. The free ride is over.

The ones that cant will whine and cry more.

These people are besides themselves over having to respond to a simple email and going back into the office which most private sector employees did 3 years ago. The federal government somewhere along the way became a jobs program. It is bloated with overlap and waste. Its now finally getting cut and we now see who all the people are who have been on the gravy train.

Have to wonder how many staunch Trump voters voted themselves out of a job within a month after trump didn’t put his hand on the bible but swore in. And, mid to high level federal workers are not the same kind of job as Jimmy & Bobby’s Pressure Washing Service. A pressure washer could be laid off without much harm to America. Blow up the VA and the Social Security Admin and it’s a different story. Elon is gutting federal agencies that he doesn’t even have a grip on what those agencies do for the American people. Gutting essential agencies. Using a molotov cocktail where scalpel was needed. He’e hurting America while calling it “cutting waste” while maga dipshits defend the drug addled oligarch from south africa.
Wow that’s a whole lot of uninformed stupid right there.

How can a tax paying citizen think this is undeserved? They are lucky they aren’t being lined up at the gallows

These should be fired.
Hire people who appreciate the job.

Cuts were needed. Well planned out cuts over time. After a lot of considerations.
Not telling a drug addict billionaire “hey baw come on in and wreck shite” to recklessly gut agencies that were actively investigating him and russia. “Fire em all first. By the hundreds of thousands! Then beg the important ones to come on back baw!” is a dumbass way to frame it. He fired people that were in charge of nuclear weapons then said “hey wait a minute. We might need those people.”
Just reckless dumbassery.

When the literal only thing you have to do to keep your job, is write down 5 things you did in 1 week, and you can't or refuse to do it, then that is not a hardship on anyone. Anyone who can't do that should have been fired years ago, regardless of political affiliation.
Funny the "but what about the fed workers crowd" not once commented about the covid firings, or the "learn to code" era under Obama. But now, because they can't list 5 things they've accomplished in a week, we are supposed to feel sorry for them?
Posted on 2/26/25 at 9:04 am to BamaMamaof2
1. Many people will act as if all agencies and departments will cease to exist which will lead to people starving and/or dying in the streets.
2. The Orange Man did this therefore it must derive from a purely evil line of thinking.

You realize the Russia hoax is about to be investigated and your girl Hillary and Schiff will likely be subpoenaed right? It's astounding any thinking human still believes it.

Ok, list the important people that were fired that can never be replaced. Or, better yet, list the current danger we are in because some guy that couldn't fill in 5 things he did last week was fired.

That’s a deflection from what the issue really is.
Musk and his lil kid geeks don’t have a clue what most federal job responsibilities even are. Before asking the workers what they did, they need to have an idea of what they are tasked with to begin with. It’s almost like Musk thought of doing this while on one of his Ketamine drug highs.
And maga people are defending it. Defending trump trying to force hard working Americans answering to a fat oligarch billionaire south african. It’s just reckless dumbassery and incompetent leadership.

Your response was so well laced with all the gotchas man. Whew. You really got me.
“Hillary” “trannies!” and “stop saying Russia bad!”
Way to keep it on topic.

You don't understand what the issue really is.
If you don't believe we need real change then I get that you're never going to agree with the methods being used. For those of us who believe we DO need real change, disruption is necessary. You're not going to effect real change doing what other presidents have done, you're going to do it by being radical. Yep, that will increase the risk and produce some missteps. You should be encouraged that they're not above saying "whoops, not that one" and correcting issues as they arise.
So, do you believe we need real change?

Nope.
That's the false premise right there. That's where everything falls apart for you.
The reality is that this is chemotherapy, and this is the way Musk operates.
That's why Trump put him in charge of this.
He did the same thing with Twitter. Cut 80% of the workforce right off the bat. And yeah, they did have to build back up over 1-2 years, but they are now back to $1.2 Billion in revenue, close to the company's all time high of $1.4 Billion, with a hugely streamlined labor force.
If essential departments need to be added back, they will be. But you'll be amazed at how few of those there actually are.
