No women in combat. Ever. I’m not a fan of women in masculine positions.

The military should have never been allowed to become a jobs program. It’s a volunteer fighting force. That’s all it ever should be.

The “jobs” aspect is just a necessary component of manifesting an efficient killing machine.

Combat veteran here. Don’t care for women in combat.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Now, women in the draft to take on non-combat roles, sure. We may need nurses, doctors, admin, cargo pilots, supply truck drivers, logistics, IT, non battle field radio operators, etc.

If they can meet the exact same standards as their male counterparts and the standards aren’t lowered to allow for this. That is the only way I would even consider it.
Congratulations, you support the current military because this is what’s happening.

I challenge anyone to provide evidence where standards have been dropped or reduced in combat arms billets based on sex.

I agree, no combat arms MOS for women. Not a sexist. My opinion is if things go sideways in combat I would prefer knowing my buddy could carry me or drag me to safety.

Was in a co-ed division in boot camp (was rare at the time). It was noticeable during the battle stations run that if it came down to a woman to save you, you were probably screwed.

What rub. That's not a rub.

Interesting. Men and women use the same scoring standards in the Army infantry for fitness tests? I’ve been out a while so interested.

The ACFT scoring scale has separate columns for every metric, male and female, and the female ones are all less rigid.

LINK

That took me about 4 seconds to find. I'm not sure what RFK is getting at.

The trope is standards to assess to combat arms have been reduced or altered.

Standards for Ranger school aren’t different. Standards for the SF Q course aren’t different standards for Marine infantry officer school aren’t different. This is the point I’m making.

What I linked is the combat fitness test? Is there a separate test for combat MOS that does not differentiate between male and female?

You're talking special stuff and we're all talking general purpose shoot and get shot at work.

If they can pass the physical metric then yes but most can’t and you shouldn’t lower the bar to get them in

They can’t

They’ll get people killed, themselves included.

The hubris involved is also crazy.

It's pretty easy to argue that the physical limitations are the least significant issue.

Lesbians make good fighters. They are vicious and have no mercy. We need at least a brigade of them.
