I’m no legal expert but if the charge is misdemeanor assault, wouldn’t the logical thing be to charge her and issue a summons to appear and have the local police in CA serve her with the summons. Then she has to travel to NY to appear in court and NYC doesn’t waste thousands of dollars flying detectives across the country to arrest someone on a misdemeanor

Most of us are making fun of NY for spending thousands of dollars on a PR stunt when they could've just picked up the phone, called police in CA and said "So hey, here's the deal".

Ok , no doubt she’s a trash ball , but you don’t understand economics , and are clueless on how police departments operate . They flew from New York to California to arrest a women for a false police report . They have people that commit crimes all over New York do they fly detectives all over the United States to pick them up? No they don’t , unless it’s a major crime murder , rape , etc etc . It’s not practical, and is a drain in resources and man power . You can’t be this dumb can you?

She didn’t turn herself in, she had a warrant for a good almost 2 weeks.
Therefore she became a fugitive for not coming in. Crazy how law works doesn’t it?
