I don't disagree and it isn't about Trump in my view. I believe what is happening falls in the peripheral of a possible presidential candidate. Not to the degree that some of the others are fuming over. Just a I am concerned over the motivation behind the DA, and something I will personally look into.

You and others claiming it's only about Trump, is kind of like seeing all the left argue about going after the J6 folks.

We are seeing political harassment, persecution, suppression, etc. It should be the concern for all.

Trump is a fool for attacking Ron, I have said it many times, but without all the theatrics of others I have seen here today, this stuff in NY should be a concern for all freedom loving Americans. If it was just about Trump, I would agree, Ron owes him nothing.

Trump always attacks fellow Republicans on a personal basis. Why is it off limits for other Republicans to attack him personally?

Where did I say I had a problem with Desantis doing it or what is being said? Or that I like Trump's approach.

I was just adding that Roy is carrying the narrative on behalf of Desantis. Ie...I don't see why Roy decided to get into to this fight on behalf of someone that hasn't even declared yet. That's odd too me, and not a great look.

Uh no. One is demanding someone's personal documents. That's why this is different. If Dessntis is seriously running then answering is par for the course. It's talking to potential voter concerns. I don't like a right lipped candidate. I know it can get ugly though.

And I don't have a guy. Desantis needs to be out there. I don't ever hear much of anything about him. If I wasn't on this forum I doubt I'd hear anything. Only thing I get from here are the typical what ifs with forum users presenting the case for him as president. I want to hear it from desantis

The bro stuff is beat to death.

I would like to hear from Desantis. My only gripe is there's a following for a governor to be president. He hasn't announced or shown interest. If that changes then I'd like to hear what he has to say. The alternative is to be with you guys hoping. I'd like to see a big field of candidates. Desantis included.

I'd like to see Joe Biden selling books instead of fricking over my country.

It's all voters. Not trump voters.

Why be isolated? Why be recluse? There's a bunch of assumptions going on here.

As you grill a poster who said he supported Desantis’ current statements on the matter.

Exactly my point - but only IF it really happens, and only IF he is going to actually run.

I don’t think it’s just about Trump. That’s why I’m not apoplectic about this one instance. We have a lot of this going on. I have a front row seat for it here in St. Louis. A local prosecutor managed to get a sitting governor to resign through suborning perjury and destroying evidence.

Until we hang a couple of these politically minded DAs, we are going to continue to reap the shitshow.
