I live in the middle of all this shite. I'm going to just have to try to ignore it as best I can to avoid going to jail. I live a couple blocks away and was on the capitol square briefly the other night for the concert that the protesters marched to and interrupted/ended with their BLM crying racism for criminal thugs BS... They basically just arrived and shouted angrily in the faces of old white people who had nothing to do with any of this. I had just left a few minutes before that happened. I'm glad I wasn't there that's all I'll say.

It will fizzle out before too long, I predict. Those cases are apples and oranges, but I'm not suggesting the Wells thing is any less absurd either.
A guy actively going after cops on clear video with a knife ain't the type of thing to typically get a lot of traction even in this environment.

Best decision I ever made was moving the hell out of Madison. I’m about 35 minutes from downtown in a much saner community and county.

Corey Ruiz had 40 misdemeanor and felony arrests and/or convictions from 2009 to 2025.
The crimes included robbery by force, strangulation, drug possession, vehicle theft and battery of a public safety worker.
This death is on the hands of the Wisconsin justice system. If they had done their jobs, he would’ve been in jail.

I’m in Dodge County. Originally from Shawano County. Shawano and Dodge Counties are very similar in many ways. On a 1200 sq ft house in Madison on a 0.19 acre lot and no garage we paid twice as much in taxes as we do here on 3 acres, 3200 sq ft house, two car attached garage, 4.5 car unattached garage/heated shop and three other out buildings. Plus, we don’t have wheel taxes out this way.
