Yeah, some counties and/or municipalities have wheel taxes. It can get confusing if your zip code city has one, but your actual locale does not.
But to the topic at hand, this will play out for a bit. The commies in Madison and the c*nt frontrunner for the Ds in the gubernatorial race and her media sycophants are going to push this as long as they can.

Statewide it doesn’t but local governments can levy them. Madison has a $40 city wheel tax that is supposed to go towards their bus system. Dane County has one for $28 and they are stacked on top of each other. Shocker….the blue counties/towns have more of them than the red counties/towns do.

I also am in madison currently. Kinda surreal crusing the lakes yesterday knowing all the protests happening on the isthmus. Was beautiful on the water.
It appears he was tazed to the ground and the bullet fire was unneeded but I am not one to play armchair QB. Criminal didn't need to be resisting at all. Could have been prevented but he didn't have a history of making good decisions

Which is odd since for some of his booking photos Madison PD lists him as "white" - perhaps their crime stats need some scrutiny like DCs.

I had shirts printed up for the “Shawano area Rama Runners Club” in respective school colors for the hometowns of family and close friends. They had a designated “chapter” on them so the blue and gold ones were Bonduel, Red and black were Shawano, etc.
As you know, the mindset in Madison is a complete 180 from where we grew up. People from outside of the state don’t fully grasp this. Madison and what happens there is nowhere near an accurate representation of the state as a whole.

I have some distant relatives that went to school there, and had the misfortune of attending a football game at UW a few years ago. Their fans are sperm stains and the town is woke AF. Flamer flags in just about every restaurant and bar.
