Well who would have thought it. Only what, twenty or thirty more states to go?

An undisclosed number of college students returning from a spring break trip to Alabama’s beaches have tested positive for coronavirus, according to news reports.

The University of Wisconsin – Madison’s Health Services said the students contracted the virus after returning from Gulf Shores, Ala., AL.com reported.

"University Health Services (UHS) and Public Health Madison & Dane County (PHMDC) recently became aware of a cluster of COVID-19 cases associated with a spring break trip organized by seniors," UW-Madison's Health Services announced in a statement Friday.

Many of the students were members of fraternities and sororities, a WKOW report said.

The trip started in Nashville, Tenn., around March 13 and moved to Gulf Shores, Ala. around March 16.

Baldwin County Alabama is NOT a hot bed of Corona virus activity...maybe 10 cases in the largest county in the state.
More than likely, these Spring Breakers brought it to Gulf Shores.

Yeah, no shite. My wife and I are in Athens.

When UGA cancelled classes for two additional weeks following spring break, we gave each other a "fan-fricking-tastic" look. We knew exactly what was gonna happen.

Thousands of college kids returning from all corners of the world, funneling through Hartsfield airport en route back to Athens to celebrate their "extended spring break" at the bars.

Which is exactly what happened. IMO, there's gonna be an explosion of UGA student Covid-19 cases in the next few days.

If one of these selfish assholes gives it to a senior, maybe someone you care about, will it still be funny? Yea, drowning in your own fluids, great laughs!

Oh that’s rich. If I was their school administrator, I’d flunk every one of them this semester. Hell, maybe kick them out of school for being idiots.

Now that is some real comprehension there, if we were talking about herpes.

Well, the thing is, they are at ages where it will likely have no damaging effect on them.

They probably caught more than the corona virus.

That's all that counts to them undoubtedly. I wouldn't be surprised if it's not a subliminal plot by them to get rid of the old folks. Nah, they aren't that smart.

Or most of those folks had it a few months ago and there are residual infections.
