If anything an individual muslim does runs afoul of the law, they should be prosecuted. If they claim first amendment protection for that, the courts will sort it out. You cant ignore part of the Constitution for your interpretation of another.

I do believe assimilation is important for immigrants. But what is assimilation in your view?
In NYC, there's a significant Jewish population. One can argue that for a large part, they don't assimilate with people of other religions(separate religious holidays, some shops closed on Saturdays for Sabbath etc.). In fact, the founders of Israel believed in Zionism because they did not believe that Jews could assimilate in Western societies.
So why is it that we don't see that sort of a push back against Jews? (I'm not saying we should, just highlighting the difference).

Yes.
I have an appointment to get to soon, maybe someone else can pull it up or y'all can google it. I don't recall enough detail to make a quick search, but it did briefly make news.
Another thing to keep in mind is when dealing with islamic enclaves, the participants don't usually complain as they are islamic too- and the little girls have nowhere to turn anyway.

Are Jews going around rapeing thousands of woman? Are they trying to behead people in the streets or commit terrorist acts on the regular? Nothing good comes from Islam.

Don’t like the religion. Don’t trust the practitioners.

We cannot put aside the first amendment just because we don’t like Islam.
We will, however, uphold our laws and demand that they assimilate enough to tolerate other religions, keep the peace within their communities, and treat others with the same respect and dignity that they have been provided by the Americans who welcomed them.
They will afford the same freedom of religion to others that they have been given. No compromise there. Ever.

No need to defend Islam. Islam is very violent and aggressive. Islam doesn't care about casualties, children or feelings. Islam doesn't care about marginalized peoples' rights, or Women's Rights, Gay Rights or TransKids being safe.
The Civilized West woefully vulnerable to this coming assault on its existence.

It is a Muslim and Jewish mutilation ritual that is allowed in the US.
