When my fiancée and I first got together she was a Bernie supporter. We were 19 and 18 at the time. I voted trump in 16 at age 21. She was very confused as to why I voted the way I did. Once I sat her down and asked her some questions, she began to see she was actually more Republican leaning than I am. She saw everything on paper and thought it looked good, but a nice long talk with my doctor sister in Canada made her see that what looks good on paper doesn’t work well in real life. She voted trump and straight Republican down ballot this year after voting for Clinton in 2016.
It’s funny, she’s more conservative especially socially than I am. I’m the one that’s moderate.

This is not politics. No disrespect, but airing a marital disagreement on a political board is more a cry for help. Not a political contribution. Seeking help here will not be fruitful. There are better mediums to use than some random "friends".

That way it is preserved in court documents and records for all to see.

Old school, grew up to do this, family tradition, Multiple generation grandparents, parents, we go to polls together, vote together, and we vote the same, about as old south as you can get I guess in some ways, we have never disagreed on who we vote for, not so lucky on some other things. Hate it for you, pardner.

I here people at work talk about how their wives/daughters are Liberal. I don’t get it.
My wife is a teacher. We live in the Burbs. Middle class with kid in our thirties. My wife is MAGA as frick. I couldn’t imagine not being married to a conservative woman. But then again that’s all the values I looked for in a woman.

My wife gets irritated with politics in general but is conservative. I have to watch political stuff in the other room and listen to talk radio when she isn’t in the car even though she agrees with most of it. She isn’t as passionate about it as I am, but she is MAGA. She cracked me up the other day when she texted me screen shots of where she has been trolling left wing packs like I had.

My wife sits at work and they blare Fox News from their Catholic based non-profit. They’re indoctrinating her for me. They’re doing the good work so I don’t have to be bothered.
