Love or hate Ben Shapiro, he can rattle off facts and statistics in a debate like nobody's business. I may not always agree with his premise or conclusions, but he always has an answer when questioned. Not saying you have to get to that point to talk to her, but have factual rebuttals ready to counter emotional statements. Like how would a 3 day waiting period have stopped this guy who used the guns to kill children a week after he bought them.

We just saw ONE MILLION PLUS people killed over two years due to Covid. While sad, does she realize the difference in scale? Does she realize how long it would take for shootings to impact us at a similar level? Does she realize how our overreaction to that event has pushed us to the brink of default?

I wasn't going to pay any attention to the george floyd thing to begin with, but my wife was upset when I got home. It was because of the picture floating around. I told her to just wait til more info came out because we've seen it before. I decided to do a little research after she went to bed. It took very little time to scratch through the surface.

I remember when my X started trusting her friends over the word of her husband. Then came "I'm working late or, I'm going to my momma's house for a while". It was worth every penny to be rid of her. I'm happy, our kids (who are adults now) are happy and she can suck every hard dick in the state of Texas now with out having to look over her shoulder.
What she didn't understand is, some of my weapons are inherited and came from far more influential people and I've had longer than her.
