re: Why would you go on national television and prove you can't provide for your family?

There is such a pushback on OT by younger generations of not wanting to work it at all even if it is not taxed. That same group are the types to get on TV and bitch about not being able to make it. It's insane to me.
When I was in college I worked in the plants as a scaffold builder for two separate summers. Give me that OT.
not at the plants there is not. they begging for it constantly. still got plenty of young ones chasing TA money

While that is a good point, I was more pissed at the banks who massively contributed to the issue getting bailed out while I was suffering. I switched to Independent not long after and stopped rooting for the GOPe. Sadly I still had to vote for McCain and Romney.

Yeah but to the point of my OP, I doubt any of them are out there rooting for Kamala and asking her to bail them out.

The first problem I see there is that does not look like a starter home judging by the background. His wife and maybe himself were not willing to accept less than what they had grown accustomed too, and griping about the cost of livinghow they can't make it without government assistance. When/ if there family members move out, they will lose that extra income and be right back in the same boat because they bought too much house...

Yep, that was a very eye opening period for me as well. I was way more tribal back in early 2000s. Fell for the Iraq war and then the big bank bailouts. Obama letting big Pharma write the ACA was last straw and it became too obvious to ignore. Its a big club, and we arent in it!

Well, he better go get on some testosterone first. Maybe he can borrow some from one of the chicks in the crowd at a Kamala rally.

Exactly these motherfrickers need to experience some real poverty. Like “gotta go hunting so we have meat for later” or “get your arse out in the garden, we need to get that shite picked so we can can food for later” type poverty. Stupid fricking liberal asshats who haven’t known a day of hardship or hard work in their entire fricking lives, whining to some lying bitch who has spent her entire life on govt payroll..makes me want to puke.

Another open mouth smile soy boy. There's seriously something that's changing men to look more feminine these days. You ain't fooling anyone with that beard.

In the book "Hero on a Mission", Donald Miller talks about how there are 4 characters in every story. Victim, Hero, Villain, and the Guide. We all have parts of every character in us but only a very few learn to become the Hero of their own story. A victim that accepts their circumstances and expects sympathy and never goes beyond is pathetic. That is the man in the video. BTW - many heroes find a guide that helped them along the way. Those same heroes eventually become a guide themselves. Many of these "men" don't have a guide and remain a pathetic victim for their whole lives.

He could turn her out for some extra cash.
IWHI. But I'd stiff her and not pay; he ain't going to do shite.
Pimpin aint easy... especially if you are a white boy for Kumala.

Could not have said it better. My wife and I both have professional jobs now in our 40s and 50s and make a good income, and are comfortable... But, when we were younger, we lived in some real shiteholes and I worked 2 jobs a lot of the time while my wife worked part time and took care of our 2 kids, and went to school herself to get an Xray tech license so she could make a better living. Nobody was going to help us monetarily, and we didn't consider asking for it. We made it on our own, and we were happy, even in the smallest, worst house we ever lived in, we were happy...Even when we had to drive shite vehicles we were happy. We never tried keeping up with the Joneses or living outside our means.

My wife and I never really experienced what I’d call hard times. My anecdotes were from childhood when my parents both lost their jobs as the impact of NAFTA took hold and their manufacturing gigs went away. Me and the wife did live a shady apartment complex once, but it was still nice to me. We never had any help from our parents (other than a free meal here or there) because they didn’t have anything to give. They did both leave us a little something when they died, but by then it wasn’t needed.
I can’t imagine ever asking the govt to help me.

Are you sure about that? It may look that way, but they got their work ethic somewhere from someone...

My wife and I both grew up pretty poor...Her family's financial situation was definitely worse than mine. She had 3 siblings and her mom and dad were divorced. Her dad was a deadbeat and hardly ever helped her mom financially so her mom worked 2 jobs to support them all. Her mom was a heck of a woman, all of her kids are college educated now with degrees and doing very well...She refused to let them fail.
My dad worked in the oilfield back when the oilfield didn't really pay like it does these days, and my mom cut hair..They made an OK living I guess, but there were 5 kids to support. We had a small farm in Texas and were constantly working on the farm so my parents had a little extra income and also growing our own food...

Know what's sadder than that semi-alpha woman and her beta husband, they believe the left, specifically Kamala, is the solution to their ills. They lack awareness that liberals caused their issues.
