Because there is no irreversible opposition between Muslims and Jews in civic life in the United States.
There is a purposeful conflating of opposition to the aggressive actions of Israel with antisemitism. Many Jews oppose Israeli aggression. It doesn't mean they hate Jews.
Same with Muslims or Christians. OPPOSITION TO THE POLICIES OF ISRAEL DOES NOT EQUAL HATRED OF JEWS.
