Why not shut down some of the American bases in Germany and open one in Taiwan

I know the Taiwanese would have to offer it, but we are apparently making some big investments deals with TSM, maybe a base helps protect American interest, whereas we should shift interest away from Europe

No need to poke, it’s more like defending interest that’s pertinent to the US and shifting out from people who want to dump on the US

Why just open a base in Taiwan, why not just full on YOLO and put some nukes there kinda like The Soviets were going to do in Cuba?

China believes it, though, and we (officially) do not contest it.
Taiwan is one of the all time “don’t ask too many questions” issues. For now, everybody lives with its situation being incredibly ambiguous.

Screw that it’s time to start closing the bases in EU, stop patrolling the waters off their coast and watch them bend the knee. None of these countries can defend themselves without us and it’s time to remind them of that.

Why not shut down some of the American bases in Germany and open new ones right here in the USA along our northern and southern borders to support border security

I agree on the part that we should support Taiwan but idk about opening bases there. Might not be good to stop poking a bear to face a dragon
