I had an ex whose family was all Palestinian in blood, but all lived in Israel (except for her parents and siblings that lived here). Side note - she was of the blonde hair and olive skin variety

Anyway, they considered themselves Isrealis first and Palestinian second. Their family all sided with Israel in any altercations with the Palestinians and she explained to me that "those" Palestinians of Gaza are not considered the same as them in their culture. It was an interesting relationship when it came to their customs - even though they were very Americanized - and she was a very beautiful woman.

In a 5 year relationship I never once met her father though, because he was still somewhat old school

The only way to deal with rabid animals is to out em down. Those savages aren't capable of living peacefully anywhere. If they were, they'd never had allowed Hamas to use their home as a defense. Putting whatever "innocents" in harm's way, but they did. Never one word about "innocent" Palestinians rising up against those who were truly responsible for putting them in harm's way.
