Why not just pull out of California and let them deal with it themselves?

I do think it would have sunk Newsome if Trump would have decided to let L.A. burn(it might not have gotten that bad, who knows).
I could see a scenario where this whole situation helps the left, sadly. But hopefully not and the left comes out looking terrible.

If you removed SF and L.A., the majority of California is full of conservative people. Also, the state is beautiful and worth saving if we can rid it of the cancer that is those 2 cities.

This isn't true. San jose is larger than SF and is blue. San Diego is purple and currently has a dem mayor. Long beach, Oakland, Sacramento are all 500k populations and blue.
There's a lot of Republicans in California, but they're still outnumbered 2-1
