Rudy tweeted it so that the authorities know they can't sweep it under the rug. The plan may be to wait on the authorities, I don't know that bringing this to light without the authorities arresting Hunter is a winning strategy unless there's some kind of proof they can put out in the media.

Maybe cause this whole thing stinks? Now he is not sure it was Hunter. All the so called “evidence” is coming from Rudy not the FBI.

I agree 100%. Its a travesty and should have never happened. However, if this story is true, and I think it is because, to use the Democrats words, of the seriousness of the allegations, then verifying will only make it stronger. No one believes Trump colluded with Russia except for the idiots on democrat underground and reddit.

Also Rudy has promised things in the past and not followed through.
He also hurt the credit on the labtop when he said in the interview with the Daily Beast and he said "The chance that Derkach is a Russian spy is no better than 50/50,"
He should have left out the “50/50” part.
It’s hard for outlets to verify something is legit when he admitted there is a “50/50” chance he obtained it from a Russian spy.

The FBI has this laptop. That has been confirmed. Why would the FBI confiscate it if there was nothing on it?
Also, this isn't just coming from Rudy, this all started with the article from the NY Post, the oldest newspaper in the US.
The laptops belong to Biden. This isn't the "8th grade girls lunch table" that CNN and MSNBC have become, spinning Russian collusion bullshite 24/7 for 4 years with no evidence. There is real evidence supporting this.
Now, who knows if the pedo part of the Hunter Biden story is real but I have seen enough videos of Joe creepily touching young girls to know that pedophilia is probably a part of that family and the Hunter apple doesn't fall far from the Joe Biden tree.

Trump has been OPENLY ordering the Justice Department and FBI to investigate Biden for over a month. He is POTUS and ultimately tells them what to do. He has been telling them to investigate his political opponent and they obey their boss. That said, the FBI has yet to release anything that even hints at illegality. Reminder that this same supposed behavior was the reason the MAGA crowds wanted Obama locked up four years ago.

Tell that to Chuck Todd on Meet the Press - the longest running news program and see what being the oldest buys. Its about ownership and that is Murdoch's News Corporation. All based on a rumor by the President's personal attorney about his political opponent two weeks before an election. I've seen Trump do creep things with kids all the time. He owned Miss Teen USA for 20 years and the anti-pedos sued him to get rid of the 14 year olds in bikinis but he wouldn't do it. Trump bragged about going backstage where the girls got ready. Its all creepy but whatever. Biden hugged a girl. Trump sold the Miss Teen USA in 2015 right before running for Pres and the new owner immediately got rid of bikinis.

Exactly - source the story in another part of the company so that the losses are mitigated when Biden sues later.
This is quite an evolution from the Karl Rove strategy in 1994 Bush v Ann Richards election. Karl had people flyer all the churches in Texas the Sun before election day that Ann Richards had personally had abortions. She was polled to win, but lost two days later. Many people cited the rumor as the reason they changed their vote. The rumor was later proved a lie of course, but Bush won and denied everything.
Years later during an interview - Karl wouldn't deny that he orchestrated the entire thing. His response was that winning is the only thing that matters.

Not a fan of recent FOX reporting, but to their credit, at least they've carried SOME stories. I don't think the words "Hunter Biden" have appeared on CNN, MSNBC, NBC, ABC, or CBS in the past week.

Honestly this is something they don't want to jump the gun on at all. I can see why it isn't being talked about at FOX quite yet. This is one thing they absolutely cannot get wrong. It's coming though... believe that.
