Yep. The older you get the thinner your skin gets. I started getting my red blotches at about 68 and now at 73 they only get worse. Anytime I handle heavy luggage the back of my hands look like someone took a meat cleaver to it.
Thats why you see a lot of old age people wearing long sleeves in the summer because of their bruises.

I'm a tad older than Trump - and I look as if I'd fallen down a flight of stairs. Bruised all over my body - bump into something and poof, another bruise.
However, I just examined all my arm/hand bruises and none of them are tinted greenish - just shades of purple.

I got bruises for which I have no idea what caused them - but if asked I'd probably give a possible act - especially if it were of no importance. Were it to be in regards to some murder investigation I'd certainly say "I dunno."
