She switched parties in 2022 to run for this seat on the 19th JDC. With all her backing of local DA's did she really need to become a Republican to attempt to win?

Tells you she has no soul, and possibly, that she's been sent there to run as an R so progs can get their person into an R slot.

She’s running a complete scam. I hope enough people realize it.

She wouldn’t have a chance running as herself in that voting district. Has to disguise herself as a Republican, hence the party change last year in preparation.

It's likely not this nefarious. Tea leaves were read that this particular judge, in a GOP-heavy district was about to retire. She's supposedly connected via her family, so it may have even been communicated to her.

White, blonde women likely won't have the ability to run as a DEM in the DEM districts in EBR. I don't think she was "sent", just more being practical or, soulless, as you said. Typical politician.

Yeah, that was my first thought as well. I was just providing the only alternate explanation I could think of.

Because that is what all the Democrats do. Look around Baton Rouge, most republicans either were democrats, or consistently voted with JBE.

Franklin J. Foil - big buddy with the governor opposes nothing he did.
Scott Mcknight - silent during lock downs and covid anti trump, buddies with the governor.
Paula Davis - totally hot, worked for Jim Brown and Robert Wooley at Dep of Insurance.
Barbara Freiberg - seems to be a margarita away from a democrat just wanting to come out.

Another interesting tidbit- her bio on her campaign page says shes been a prosecutor in the DA's office since 2010, which would have been her graduation year, yet she was officially licensed as an attorney, according to the attorney database, in October of 2011.

She failed the Bar TWICE. Civil Law is going to be a massive comprehension problem for Myers.

My 2 neighbors met her and, from what I gathered, one of her campaign helpers before the first election. After introducing herself I said I have 2 questions. Are you pro choice or pro life? Her helper responds with why would you ask that? My second question is are you for abolishing the death penalty? I said 2 simple questions that require simple answers. The helper responds with what does this have to do with the election? I looked at my neighbors and said she will kill innocent babies but not murderers. That’s why she swapped from D to R a year ago so she could win an election. After her initial introduction she never uttered another sound. Nothing.

Gleaning insight from two specific but complicated issues is an important inquiry if you’re trying to decide on a judicial candidate. I can respect and vote for nuanced subtle differences in my thoughts versus there’s. What I wouldn’t be fond of is a candidate not even providing an answer either way. Take a fricking stand. You’re running to be a judge where decisive decisions are required and sometimes you make the wrong one…

Just heard today that she doesn’t even live in the district in which she’s running for judge. Crazy how that doesn’t disqualify her, but oh well. Hopefully people are becoming educated on the issues at hand and not relying on a dishonest campaign which is being run on her part.
