Hiding is a rule? Damn. Didn’t know that.

I probably wasn’t clear enough with my question. What I meant was if Trump again becomes President and does institute tariffs along the lines that you’ve described, what problem(s) would he be taking that action in response to?
Posted on 9/21/23 at 7:24 pm to CollegeFBRules
Why should he. The people up on the stage for the debates now are just practicing for their next office they want to campaign for

Are these actual talking points from Ron’s campaign? Jeez.

Agreed, and notably, every single response here has not tried to address any of the questions posed by the editorial, just a bunch of canned echoes with no substance.
Well on the age thing, trump is more lively than Biden. I do think both are too old. But I’m picking trump over Biden.
Plus trump isn’t from bidens generation, so who are the republicans running from his generation?
Also any candidate going up there to propose a federal abortion ban will lose.
That’s any easy one to get women out to vote and they already vote more than men do.

This is absolutely not true. I have said more than once that I will vote for Trump
In this instance I wasn’t referring to you but rather to how you described the OP, as someone free and willing to be convinced to vote for Trump, trying to educate himself on candidate Trump, so to speak. From what I’ve seen it’s not quite as sincere situation as that.

can’t wait to see him unload on Biden though.
We’ve already seen that a few times and it’ll be the same. Biden’s always been dumb as an ashtray but a decent enough debater. Trump will yell, tell lies about the election all night, interrupt everyone. A couple of crotchety senile, narcissistic grandpas who are way past their prime.

And their trials and tribulations against the reptilian menace Donald Trump will get them a book deal too, the book deal is huge.

This depends on the amount of imported goods each individual US consumer purchases.
You seem to be very smart so try and jist break it down for us on how much each individual will be taxed
You throwing out 300bil makes it seem crazy which is your gotcha like a good dem
So please break it down per individual
Is it 10k extra per year, 5k? 2k? 1k?
Posted on 9/21/23 at 7:54 pm to SDVTiger
Between two to five thousand a year, and that’s if his narcissism stops there. Tell me why that’s okay and sensible.
Posted on 9/21/23 at 7:56 pm to CollegeFBRules
So an extra 400 max a month if that but everything else will be lower to offset
So you giagantic pusses are crying over a few hundred dollars
Ronbots are the worst ever

Because Trump’s a pussy

Because you haven't read his plan. 3 trillion of US imports with a 10% tariff equals $300 billion. To spell it out for you it's a $300 billion tax raise.
You haven’t spelled out anything other than speculation.
What if those goods are now made in the US? Automation is the future.
Why do you wish to prop up the commies?

It is in Trump's 2024 economic plan. He lays it out. There is no speculation.

How do you use automation to make a banana?

This isn't about commies moron. Trump wants tariffs on all imports, not just those from China. We are talking about all nations.
Why do you want Trump to raise taxes?

Bananas…seriously?
Don’t be childish.
It is a starting point for negotiating a better trade deal.
Countries capitulate…see NATO.

Why did you cut the beginning of my quote off? That's a jjdoc thing to do, and I have never taken you to be dishonest like him.
Above is your whole quote. What I said stands. Below is what you responded to. I didn’t think that you would stoop to Maograth levels of deflection, but here you are.
quote:
They would hammer him on J6 under those circumstances, even if everything that they said were a blatant lie. The MSM would support the false narratives, you would link them as being factual, and Trump would now have to regain votes that he once had in his pocket. He would be a fool to subject himself to that possibility (probability). That’s probably why you want it. TDS.

Still thinks Trump told people not to vote in GA
And is crying about a 200 tax to have everything else lower
Desantis has the same plan yet notbing about that

Just relaying what Trump said. He wants tariffs on all imports.
"Among the ideas they discussed was Trump’s plan to enact a “universal baseline tariff” on virtually all imports to the United States, the people said."
quote:
It is a starting point for negotiating a better trade deal.
Nope. He wants tariffs on everything. He has been talking about this for years. Just Google "Trump universal baseline tariffs".
