Why is being proud of the USA bad?

I don't understand some of these people that care about what Europe thinks of us.
Of course they would like us to be inferior to them.
Of course they want us to apologise for us being the best.
Why the hate for the flag? Why the hate for our service people?
America is the best country in the world, every one knows it, but if you even show a little patriotic spirit you are labeled a white nationalist.
Even then nothing is wrong with that.
I mean why in the hell some want to live here and change the best formula for a country in history?
I just can't wrap my head around how socialism is a winning outcome for us as a country.
Of course they would like us to be inferior to them.
Of course they want us to apologise for us being the best.

Europe dominated the world long after America was discovered. Hell, the US didn't produce a decent author until the 19th century (Mark Twain).
In HS senior English everyone had to take British Authors. American authors were worthless.
The more I read about great inventions in the US during the early 20th century the more I realize we were 30 years behind Europe discovering the same damn thing.
But now, Europe sucks. We are the big dog. Why? Because a bunch of Brits in 1776 developed the best form of govt the planet has ever seen. That's why our Constitution is the oldest in the world.
Everyone hates the big dog. It's just not fair.
Journalism 101: Your purpose is to comfort the afflicted and afflict the comfortable.
We are the comfortable.

Because everything the US has always stood for runs counter to the agenda progressives have strived so hard for the past century to see come true, namely the dismantling of our current form of government so the US can become first a socialist, then communist country.

Europe is an ally....with a GDP that is greater than ours....greater than any nation in fact. That's why we should care what they think of us.
How many people hate the flag? I'd bet the number is about the same as those who truly love it because the sentiment is the same...its a fricking symbol...its inanimate...it isn't worthy of hate or love...although there are those who do both, they are simply idiots. Lots of people claim to love it but there are also a lot of people who claim to belive in God but their actions on both counts are truer indicators of the truth than their words.
By what measure is America the best country in the world...and for whom? Americans? Absolutely. Italians? Not so much....
Millions of Americans of all races show loads of patriotic spirit every day and aren't labeled white nationalists...mostly because they don't go about calling themselves white nationalists.
The best formula for a country in history is the formula that resulted in the United States TODAY...Trump and company are the ones trying to return to some unspecified period of greatness (making something great again means, by definition, it was once great in the past and is no longer great). The United States has evolved into the greatest experiment ever undertaken by man including most of the shite that Trump and company would turn the clock backwards on given the opportunity.
Socialism, as defined by the GOP and Bernie Sanders, has already created the United States....because the GOP is of the opinion that any collective effort is socialist in nature....by that measure we have been a socialist nation since the beginning....
