Would not pass the Senate or even get a Senate debate. So no, that cannot be done.
Republicans control Congress, the fund the government. They can choose not to fund a rouge DOJ.

The Georgia Senate passed a bill that would create a commission with power to remove district attorneys on Day 27. Senate Bill 92, sponsored by Senator Randy Robertson (R – Cataula), would create an oversight commission for Georgia's district attorneys. The eight member panel could remove district attorneys and solicitor generals for a variety of issues, including refusal to prosecute certain crimes or physical or mental incapacity. Robertson, a former law enforcement officer, said that the bill extends oversight that law enforcement already has to district attorneys and the solicitor general. He believes the bill is key for criminal justice system oversight. "I spent over 30 years in the criminal justice system. I welcome oversight in the criminal justice system," he said. "I welcome it. I want the individuals in the criminal justice system to be held to the same standard that I was when I was there. I want the standards to be increased. We see riots and we see people running all over the place saying the justice system isn't fair and that people are able to do whatever they want." Robertson gave several examples of attorneys or solicitor generals he said should be held accountable for refusing to prosecute certain crimes or conflicts of interest.

Why haven't we seen more outrage from the D.C. Republicans
Because most everyone in Washington DC has been blackmailed. They know better than to say anything.
ETA : or they have been instructed what line they are not to cross.

Because Trump wants to destroy the GOP?
Posted on 8/28/23 at 6:46 pm to Bass Tiger
How come we haven't seen more outrage from his followers?
Posted on 8/28/23 at 7:07 pm to Bass Tiger

I know there's the occasional outbursts of denouncement coming from Gaetz, MTG, Donalds, Boebert, probably a few others but for the most part the D.C. Republicans have kept clear or minimized their voice of displeasure over Trump's political persecution? It's like these D.C. Republicans have forgotten there are a minimum of 30-40 million hardcore America First/MAGA voters who are well aware of their lack of interest in what's happening to the undisputed heavyweight champ of the America First/MAGA movement. It makes you wonder if the Republican Party survives if DC Republicans and the RNC bail on Trump. When Trump is declared the primary winner the DC Republicans and RNC better rally with strong support for Trump or I'm not sure how long the Republican Party exists.
It’s that non existent Deep State Bro.
You know, the one the geniuses like SFP have a shite fit for every
time it’s brought up.
I know one thing. They are definitely not involved in Satanic Rituals
involving children. You can take that to the bank.

The Democrats stick like glue together which is why we are in the pickle we are in.
Republicans always seem to be looking out for themselves and are far more willing to help a Democrat out over a Republican.
It is by design. Just hit a couple of the prominent DC bars during happy hour when they are in session.
The joke is on us.

They are afraid. And not of their Constituents either

No, they do not. Appropriations bills have to pass both chambers and be signed by POTUS.

So……not the Georgia AG as you previously stated?

There is no Deep State.
An 800% increase in personal wealth means s normal for elected
officials in their 3rd year in office.

This is the correct answer and the impetus for the OP.

Because he insulted them all constantly to the point that they hate his guts, just like any of us would if we had to work with the mother fricker.

This is probably true in most cases. What you are leaving out is the beneficiaries, which are not the taxpayers but Trump’s family.

Easy answer; they're complicit.

Whistling past the graveyard. They might be next.

And if the house refuses to bring up a bill to fund the DOJ that means there won’t be funding for the DOJ who trying to put their nominee in jail for life while protecting the current president through evidence they found themselves, are you that dense?
