Not my work. But I'll give credit to Mr. Adams.
We would have better government if starting frame of mind of all citizens was here.

Please, the government is not going after dissenters. They went after assholes who got carried away in a riot at the Capitol and assaulted cops, trespassed and did cause some property damage. Dissenters who went to the rally and then went on their way are not facing any harassment or prosecution.
Trumpists want to act irresponsibly and then play the victim when they get called out. Rudy acted recklessly, his mouth was writing checks his arse could not cash.....and he knew it.

If you want to start a movement to make that the actual law then I would support it, but as of now that's just fairy tale stuff. And that still has nothing to do with the civil lawsuits

Who is being prosecuted who didn't enter the capitol or engage in violence that day?
Hell, how many people who were just hanging out in the normal public areas of the capitol have been charged? How many of those were charged with anything serious?

If if there was no law, it would be powerful just to have all citizens have this mindset. Spread it around.
Think of how different things would be if you knew that every juror in box has this frame of mind.

Agree. But I'm not here for that.

Almost 4 years later and still no definitive proof, no whistle blower, etc on what would be the largest coup in our history. Hard to believe.....

Youre wrong, the burden of proof is on the people who dont have the power to ruin the lives of those on the other side.
The worst travesty wasnt even the stolen election. We can survive terms of a terrible administration...just like SlowProGuy and his buddies survived the "horrors" of a Trump term. The worst travesty was that the government stopped showing any restraint in dealing with dissenters and used the unlimited resources of the government to threaten, imprison, and bankrupt those dissenters. Raiding Trump's private residence should have galvanized his support even amongst those on the right that hate him...but it sadly didnt

I know 4 people who went to the rally and then went home or back to their hotel. They have yet to be visited by FBI or anyone else.....hell, I know someone who was at the Capitol steps and has not gotten a call or visit.

Cool.
Name your top 3, then.
Should be pretty easy.
Go.....

Not really. I'm not a Boomer who flips through his one newspaper every day for all of his news.

Probably because none of us know what the evidence is, and why they went after him.

I mean that prosecution is the most likely one to return a conviction of Trump, so I wouldn't use this as your preamble

This is the answer a chickenshit coward would give

Trump acted like an overconfident buffoon in that saga. The obstruction-related charges are pretty strong (and apolitical)

Though I do have a healthy fear of the US justice system, that doesnt mean that I have an ounce of respect for it.

Your respect isn't important to the system,
but your fear is critical.
