It’s a room in the OEOB. Trump used it occasionally too. Idk why Biden prefers to use it so much though. Probably because they love meaningless photo ops and want more media at each one than the tiny WH press room or Oval Office would allow. I guess someone got tired of redecorating the East Room once a week

They’ve renovated the room pretty recently (maybe during late Trump admin, but not positive), but the last few administrations have used that space for larger events when they don’t use the East Room
