Similar to why I don’t want less HOA involvement. We need people to make a big deal out of things that don’t seem like a big deal before they become a big deal
Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety

Because that means more individual responsibility. I don't think that's the whole reason. I'm sure there are a ton of other variables, but that one seems to be the biggest variable.
I have literally had some stupid co-workers say out load:''Thinking stuff is hard!'' They simply are too stupid for freedom and liberty, some are stupid to the point of demanding enslavement essentially.
Some post here but not naming them as it's like Beetlejuice, they will show up if named. Then we'd have their idiocy in the thread.

Because people would rather Government help them out rather than improving their own lives.

Simple. Folks have found that grifting for the 'under represented' can lead to political power and financial gain.

At least you can tell time, you might be making progress...

You have no concept of "conservatism."

I don’t understand why you’re saying no the the first 2 points. Who is creating laws about driving and food regulations if it’s not our government?

Because freedom and liberty requires responsibility and sacrifice

Some of them want to be abused ...

Freedom and liberty requires each individual to be responsible for their own lot in life.....that scares a lot of people who want to be taken care of.
Freedom and liberty can be hard work. People don't like to do that anymore.

A poll was taken of elderly E. Germans who lived under the USSR control when young. The only ones who said they preferred life in communism was 10% of the women. Their reason: 'Things were more predictable.' Freedom = uncertainty and some people can't handle risk. We have them in the U.S. today. They're the ones still wearing Covid masks.

Women hate freedom, they want perceived security above all else. And then they infect the douchebags that say things like, "happy wife, happy life."

Government is a God-ordained institution and is intended for the well being of society, particularly in wielding the sword of justice to punish evil. In order to do its job, there cannot be absolute liberty. Such freedom is anarchy and is destructive to society ultimately.
Most people agree that there must be limitations on individual freedoms but disagree on where to draw the line.

I hear you but there’s no chance in hell I’d want to get rid of the HOA in my neighborhood. These people would never cut their yard, keep up with flower beds or do anything to maintain their house. I don’t want to live next to that. If that’s something you can’t understand that then you’re blessed with good neighbors

Most people are sheep. Vast majority of women (lefties) are sheep - the reason Oprah was so popular. Women (especially lefties) want to be told what to do by strangers.

For example, if we were allowed to personally defend ourselves and our community as intended by the founding fathers, we wouldn't have problems with the Basketball People having daily brawls at the Circle K or the Muslims throwing white children off of balconies and randomly exploding. Hell, they wouldn't be around at all. Establishment republicans and liberals want to keep the good people imprisoned to the government. True freedom scares the hell out of them.
"Our community" and "we" and "they" reads a lot like what BLM idiots and black separatist movement dorks post online, blaming whitey for why their life didn't turn out to be as cool as they thought it would.
You are basically the equivelant on the fringe lunatic spectrum, just with different skin color and different life experiences.

That's how they become millionaires during their first couple of terms in office.
