Society says it’s genetic. God says it’s sexual deviance, brought on my man’s separation from Him, called sin, and this will only get worse and worse during the last days, and I truly believe we are in those days right now. The outright hedonism and hatred for God and His accountability and plan for mankind is at an all time high in this country.
I’m going with our Creator’s definition though. Genetics don’t fluctuate when it becomes popular. What does fluctuate however is man’s relationship with God, which at present is in the gutter spiritually in this country. Plenty go to churches that tickle people’s ears to fleece them for their own sick lust for wealth, but much fewer to churches that preach uncompromisingly from the word of God alone.

I think connecting pedophilia to run of the mill homosexuality is misplaced. I don't think same sex attraction is likely to be particularly predictive of attraction to minors.
I do think the historical degeneracy of the gay community and the race to the bottom in terms of deviancy can contribute to pedophilia and a bunch of other awful things. It probably leads to a disproportionate number of gay people being involved with that behavior. And I think the trans community, consisting entirely of mentally ill people many with suicidal inclinations, deserves the utmost scrutiny when it comes to protecting children.
