He is highly quotable and egotistical. Arrogant men (I like Trump, but let's be honest) are frowned upon, these days.
They hated W, but he didn't talk as much and was more low-key. And now that we live in a ten-second news cycle online, Trumps yaps stand out that much more.
Finally, the left's cows are ten times more sacred than they were in 2000. So Trump's ruthless rants sting that much harder.
Simple as that! There's no profound geopolitical fire behind this. Not even the Supreme Court's ruling on Roe did it.
It's just that libs got more sensitive. And Trump, less than any other public figure, gives no fricks. He gives NEGATIVE fricks what they feel.
Trump could change his tone but none of his policy, I am confident their childish outrage would then simmer down.

Except for Trump being beloved by media, Hollywood, and other pop culture before he ran for president as a Republican. Then all those people turned on a dime because they were told to.
His personality didn't change. His opinions about America didn't change.
Outside of those paid to hate him for now being against the corrupt establishment, he is hated because of some level of brainwashing. People were told that they should no longer like Trump and they complied.

It's hard to understand and I don't get it, I never really gave much of a shite about politics but do like Trump.
He seems to have a common sense approach to everything, stock market kicking arse, gas $2.50 a gallon, ending wars, crime and closing the freaking borders.

Yes. Look, you can be MAGA as frick, but you have to recognize that Trump has an off-putting personality to many. He's arrogant. He's cheated on all of his wives. He's made some money and he wants everyone to know it. He's a PT Barnum-like showman. He speaks in superlatives and loves talking about himself.
I will say that he has been somewhat subdued in his second term relative to his first. He seems much more goal oriented and focused on specific outcomes. I give him credit for that.

From a politician's view in DC, it's because he rejects Globalism.
Globalism enriches politiicians and other countries while the US citizen goes without. The majority of Congress, all of the Democratic Party and RINOS, have sold their souls to Globalism.
If you are confused what Globalism is, it's wanting to turn the US into what is happening in Europe. Basically a Cloward and Piven type strategy that overwhelms the system by government policies and then forcing change which will strip citizens of their rights.
Imagine how many folks in 1990's Europe, had they been able to forsee to 2025, would have rejected anything EU.

I would think it would happen to any Republican in that situation, but I’m not so sure.
Trump doesn’t bring a thumbtack, he brings a hammer, and people just weren’t (and aren’t) use to it.
Probably has a ton to do with his business background and how little he cares about being tactful.

I agree 100% and I too voted for him twice in '16 and '20. I like him less and less lately.
