This. We all need to get involved which means sacrifice or we lose the rest of what’s left of our country without a shot fired

Competence and sober thinking, mostly, other than that your guess is as good as anybody's

From what I’ve seen if you get a seat in congress you’re pretty safe as they won’t ever pass term limits, they get to go to the leader for campaign money, and they’re likely bought off by someone to get there that no one else has access to compete.
BINGO!!

Not great competition.

Tillis wasn't this way for a good while. He really came out as a liberal at some point around the Ed Martin debacle. Now he is just trying to burn it all down on the way out. He is pissed because his office got enough correspondence from constituents basically telling him he might as well not bother to run again. Which he isn't.
The other one that is gone from NC (Burr) was about as bad. Unfortunately, Tillis' seat is going to go to Roy Cooper (D) who was the two term governor here and has crushed every election he has run in.

Republican voters are put in the position to vote for those guys, or vote for a proud self-avowed Democrat.

It’s why they had to get rid of Charlie Kirk.
By "they," I assume--based on many who post here--you mean... the evil JOOs?

Same way we had to re-elect Cassidy last time, he was the only option other than a Democrat. He wouldn't have been re-elected in 2020 if we had another option.

Tillis is not running again after Trump said he'd back a challenger. He's pissed and obstructing anything he can so he should be stripped of his committees.

I agree to a point. I really believe a ton of people are apathetic and don't feel it matters what they vote so they don't.

1. They usually do a GREAT job of helping constituents. Never underestimate that. That includes Mayors and counties.
2. Do you know how hard it is to beat an incumbent Senator? The donor cartel is usually behind the incumbent . They have a solid GOTV effort and ground game.
Cassidy was an anomaly. He ticked off Trump and his constituents. Paxton was an established AG. Very rarely will you see a statewide office holder take on a sitting U.S. Senator of his own party.
