Why did it take DeSantis so long to say he would support Trump even with a conviction?

And why did he have to look around to see what everyone else’s answer was before raising his hand?

Not a good look for Meatball Ron

Maybe he didn’t hear the question over ChatGPT and fatso fighting.

The dude is just awkward. No way around it. Very odd behavior for a presidential candidate.

Earlier he chastised Fox for doing a “raise your hand” question on climate change. So maybe he was reluctant to participate.

Pence’s hand actually went up after Ron’s.

And to be fair, I can’t blame anyone for taking a few seconds to think about that answer and not just throwing their hand up like an over-eager cuck trying to win Trump’s approval.

yeah as much as I think stuff like that shouldn’t matter for a candidate for president it absolutely does. It’s the same reason Rand Paul did so terrible in 2016

He wasn’t into the childish hand raising.

I would be hesitant to support a guy that without a doubt voted for Charlie Crist

All of the left side waited to see what everyone else was doing first

He thinks it’s his turn. That’s the only reason. Then he got punked.

Looked like he was wondering if they were actually raising their hands like toddlers, instead of expressing their actual views on the topics presented.

I’m pretty sure that’s probably a subject that should be considered prior to the moment the question’s asked in a national primary debate. At least you’d hope it would.

“He’s awkward “

“No personality “

“What’s with his smile”

Bunch of flame throwing fairies. Our nation is gay.

The question was clearly heard by all. Try again.

He had said he didn't want to play the hand raise game because it is childish and we should have real discussion. So then they asked another hand raise question and he hoped others would want to be adults as well. It was a no win for him but a bad image that the Trump folks will try to make into something it isn't of course. Really his only mistake of the night but a complete setup.

Of course no one cares that Trump refuuses to say he will support anyone but himself.

That said it's probably best just to take the L on that one and move on, the more they talk about it looks like excuses and distracts from real conversation.

When you’re the governor of Florida and have a strong emphasis of being tough on crime, it’s not a simple easy decision to come straight out and say someone recently convicted of a felony should be President.

When you’re just a salesman who’s trying to be Trump’s running mate, the question is much easier to answer.

This.

But to be fair, and as much as I like DeSantis, seeming to look around to decide what to do is an AWFUL look, regardless of what the question is.

But yes...it stands to reason the guy running as Trump's spoiler would be waiting to throw his hand up like Horshack.

1) It was a bullshite question, and typical of Fox looking for "clicks" the next morning with "raise your hand" type questions.
2) Might have something to do with Trump personally attacking him and his associates attacking his wife?
3) Didn't Trump vow not to support the GOP candidate if he didn't' win? Not sure why you are crying about this now.
