re: Why are "they" so obsessed with mentions of 'FLAT EARTH'? Just a silly "CT", right?

I can’t stand on the beach of the east coast and use my telescope to see England, yet that telescope can look straight at the moon and see it

You've not proven that Polaris isn't brighter in Northern Canada than it is in Central America, but you've said it to be absolute truth.
Seems to me like you would be able to find at least ONE amateur picture of Polaris from, say, anywhere in Australia.
You can do it lil guy, I believe in you. Find me just one picture of Polaris from Australia.
I can find you hundreds of pics of Polaris from Alaska.

Neil deGrasse Tyson is on camera dating that the Earth is pear shaped.
He didn't mean it like you think, like literally a pear that is skinny on top and bulbous at the bottom
He was trying to dumb it down.
He meant an Oblate Spheroid. It is practically round, but at the equator it is further out than at the poles. That's it.

Such as.
I've stood on top of Washington Rock in New Jersey and seen the Philadelphia skyline that's over 70 miles away.
I've stood on Falmouth Beach and seen Nantucket beaches which is over 30 miles away.

It can’t be done. Well it can.. just not with you people.
“Tha calibration!!1!1” “Wuz it the same day??!1??!1”. “Are you trained!?!1” “Wutz your qualifications!1!!1” “How do I knuw it was the same star!!1!” “You cud have made it up!1!!11!1!”
It’s literally impossible. The only way is to send you up in Bezos’ craft. And frick that. You can just sit and be stupid before I pitch in on that.
Oh and….. how does a 3000 mile across star maintain fusion?? I thought I had already asked that.

It won’t work. They discount every photo you show them but provide freaking illustrations to try to convince us.

And hasn't answered my question about the moon being a source of light.

Do you even geometry bro?

You likely saw refraction.
Regardless, your so called personal experience is dumb.
If you believe the earth is flat, you are a fricking retard. The end.

Or why I can’t simply look to my left or right and see the corona of light from the far off sun.
Why doesn’t it look like predawn all night?
Why doesn’t it look like predawn all night?

You have me confused with someone else. I've not did any of that. I've not discounted any proof because again, you've brought none.
Easy to say I'd discount your proof before bringing it as an excuse not to offer any.

Philadelphia should be well behind the curve at the height of Washington Rock at that distance.
My observations are my own. I know what I saw. I don't have to prove it to you. You can go see for yourself. And perhaps you're right. Perhaps I was standing just in the right spot on just the right day, in just the right conditions for light to refract around the curvature of the Earth rendering a perfectly flat skyline of Philly. That is as retarded as you say I am.

Idk about the moon.
But it appears as though the moonlight is far different than sunlight. Perhaps the light bouncing off the moon's surface changes it in some way. I don't know.

Well the only explanation is that the sun is hidden by the Earth's rotation away from it.
There. Happy???

How would light be bouncing off of the moons surface if the moon and sun are on the same plane?

You think that is what I was referring to by refraction (and I was referring to your view of Nantucket with this, not Philly)?

Or, the sun is hidden behind the curve of the spherical earth…..

Idk. Are you finally throwing your “earth might be flat” bullshite in the trash and accepting reality?

Isn’t there a whole city between them Washington rock and Philly?
Posted on 5/26/22 at 3:53 pm to Fun Bunch
The Earth's curvature is supposedly 8 inches per mile squared.

Not one with skyscrapers. There are buildings that are distinguishable and from Philly.
