Democrats are high propensity voters. They are older, less employed, and generally more influenced by traditional media sources (ie, ginned up and frothing at the mouth) They are also better about collecting ballots from nursing homes and housing projects.
Republicans tend to stay home/work in mid terms. If this is you, be prepared for two years of endless trials, hearings and impeachments.

Things such as a Gen Z unemployment rate exceeding 10% will do that.
Especially while touting a "great economy."
That messaging could certainly undergo a tweak or two.

Buyer's remorse always kicks in during the midterms

Cuz people wanted prices to fall to historic lows 5 minutes after he entered office.

Tell Trump to end H1B/OPT/any other visa bullshite associated with this and GOP wins midterms easily.
IT REALLY IS THAT SIMPLE

Because it’s only a few seats that are needed
What are the odds on the senate?
I think the gop may expand there

Because these are the same polls who said Kamala would win...If republicans get out there and vote, this won't happen.

Because the Republican are HORRIBLE at using power and messaging throughout the year. They only try to reach voters during campaigns when they should be using their power of leadership to reach voters every day about the what and why of the policies they are working on.
Republicans have had way too much infighting and public head bucking. The public infighting is catastrophic!!
Republicans fall all over themselves to get on national news networks and to get those invites they have to bash republican agendas. Instead, the Republican leadership needs to remind their legislators that if they are not moving in a positive directions for Republican causes, they are moving forward Democrat causes. It is really that simple. Do not give the Democrats and the liberal DNC media any help and always reverse the narrative of the liberal media. Republicans can never get this through their lame brains.

In October of 84 Mondale had a 20 point lead on Reagan.

I won't be voting Democrat in the next election, but I won't be voting for my Republican rep this time either.
I think this board's bubble would be shocked to learn that there are a lot of people who vote GOP loyally that aren't happy with a lot of the current happenings right now. Doesn't mean they will vote Democrat, but maybe won't vote in 2026.
Millers' strategy to flood the zone will either be the most politically savvy strategy in modern American politics, or will come back as an epic failure.
If Congress would ever get off their arse and do anything, that would be nice. If a Democrat wins in 2028 then everything so far is getting undone, and they will swing back to the left very hard, which is not good.

Y’all are so fricking delusional. GOP has underperformed every time Trump is not on the ballot. We’ve done nothing to solve the election integrity problem.
It was a simple question and I see you couldn't grasp the point of it, which isn't a surprise.
The point is, what's the use in paying attention to polls at all when they're so obviously rigged. See Hilary Clinton projected to win in 2016. 98% to 2%. Let that sink in. There is no point in paying attention to, or arguing about polls.

Because Republicans outside of a handful are losers. They have no idea or the testicular fortitude to fight. They still think the left will play fair. They are cowards.

Because the Republican house is doing nothing to help Trump so middle of the road voters aren't going to get out and vote for the R candidate again.

Trump also has better odds at becoming the next president over every Democrat not named Newsom.
So, there is that.
So, there is that.
