Massie and Ron are libertarian not conservatives. The party believes in open borders ...etc...
DeSantis is far far from an open borders proponent.
Why do you make shite up?

Again. I asked you to list the names of the admins in American History that were conservative to you.
Not 1 man. All the admins you would consider conservative.
Has there never been one?? Just Reagan?

These threads are my favorite. We've already seen the 2 most common pivots
1. Trump never claimed to be conservative
2. Closed borders mean more than everything and they're conservative (even though they were a policy plank of Bill Clinton)

Because MAGA is insanely ineffective and self-defeating.

Where do conservatives and libertarians disagree most in your opinion? Is it more on the cultural front or the economic one?
Kinda both, tbh. Libertarians staunchly oppose the welfare state, but a lot of conservatives support the welfare state (albeit, they want to reform it to “save” it).
Libertarians are split on immigration with some very vocal libertarians supporting open borders while others are staunchly against illegal immigration. The GOP is similarly split between neo-conservatives who want open borders for cheap labor and nationalists who want closed borders to preserve American culture.
Tariffs are one area where most libertarians and nei-cons are strictly opposed, but nationalists are staunchly for.
Libertarians tend to clash with both Neo-cons and nationalists on social issues such as gay marriage, lgbtq rights, drug legalization, assisted suicide, prostitution, gambling, public alcohol consumption, occupational licensing, etc. Libertarians tend to be split on abortion, where Nationalists and neo-cons tend to be staunchly pro-life.
Nationalists and libertarians tend to align against neo-cons on interventionism abroad (something that Trump has certainly brought into controversy between himself and his base), foreign alliances, domestic spying, and support for ngo’s/cultural institutions.
Libertarians also tend to favor the FAIR Tax (national tax on consumption) while neo-cons mostly support the status quo. Nationalists oppose the income tax, but seek to replace it with tariffs and other taxed rather than a national sales tax.

Can you find a link of Trump saying explicitly he’s more conservative than anyone else? Also what’s your problem against closed borders and free trade? Weren’t those two of trumps campaign promises?

“Muh he’s not a conservative” but the non conservatives hate him to the point of trying to kill him. More leftist logic which equates to wish casting idiocy.

Bro I agree Trump isn't very conservative.
Go back to my original response to your OP. 2 involve pure leftism from Trump/MAGA
quote:
1. MAGA's Deficit spending
2. MAGA's Leftist economics
Again, this is the thread title:

Why are the conservative libertarians fighting maga so hard?
The answer: Leftist bullshite (see above)

Would you really describe Trump as free trade? He is more protectionist and mercantilist……which is fine except this tariff business seems to have backfired

Nothing you say has a shred of validity.
