I'm not paying any such things. You are the one who wants to make it so they can make sharia law legal. Once you start saying the government can make laws regarding religion, you've made all sorts of things legal. All they need at that point is a majority vote.

So where you do get extra authority for enforcement?
And if the threat is so big that it requires these actions, then how can you prevent them from doing ti anyway, since it is now legal?

Usually when folks inexplicably gripe and complain and devote so much attention like they have and do in this case, it’s because they’re envious of the individual. Now, it’s likely much, much more complicated and nuanced than that simple statement, but I’m satisfied with just acknowledging that reality. As for the people in question themselves, they do not and will not acknowledge that reality, and honestly I’m not completely convinced they’re even capable of it.
