I'm against anything taken from me that I earned.

I do feel sorry for children who are impacted. I am fine with them not having soda and sugary snacks, but I wish there was some way you could let them get some stuff for their birthday. It’s not their fault their parent or guardian is on snap. With that said, maybe thats the spark that causes some kids to grow up and make sure they aren’t dependent on gov’t.

SNAPs goes to help keep people healthy. Not Soda. Common sense.

You see it all the time, 3/4 of the country is fat. Why is that?
To make matters worse we started telling people its good thing to be fat instead of being honest about it. Obesity is worse for health than cigarettes and booze. Age and health conditions can make it difficult, but thats not the reason most people gain a lot of weight.
People dont need to be a gym warrior to be in shape, workout once or twice a week and eat healthy at least 5x a week and you will be in pretty good shape. Its that simple.

No one is against helping people that really need it.
What they want to stop is a 30 yr old abled bodied man from drawing welfare when his sorry arse could be working.
Louisiana also has an epidemic of people who have been taught from generation to generation how to milk the system.
There’s a formula- have kids without getting married and everything is free

Mississippi has the same exact issue. Bennie Thompson actually has his staff schedule and give classes so these parasites can learn how to game the system to maximize what they are owed. I have no problem helping those that need a bridge. But multi-generational fleecing of entitlements is the norm.

You will not find a single conservative who would oppose your Nana's shopping list. Stop being obtuse, you alt-queer

You Dim trolls are getting very tiresome.

Limiting choice and removing options she might like would most likely be frustrating at certain point. I know if I had a craving for something and couldn't get it it would frustrate me or "make me a little miserable" to not be able to achieve it.

Taking care of nana is the responsibility of her family, not the taxpayer.
I would never let my grandmother scrape by on SNAP.
