Well I believe that the pattern of blind hatred and their inability to be tolerant of anything completely removes them from being considered for having nuclear weapons.

Same reasons we don’t allow hardened criminals to legally posses firearms.

Even when they illegally posses them, they still use them.

According to various reports, they've had nukes for decades (whether they developed them on their own, with the cooperation of the US or ust have allowed the US to station some there is up for debate) and they haven't used them despite being under nearly constant attack (mostly by Iranian proxies).

Has any other used them on their neighbors (USA excepted)?

Is "Death to America" the official slogan of any of those other countries?

Because the countries with nukes don’t go around the world killing innocent people with what’s called terrorism

What a stupid fricking question

Past performance is no guarantee of future results.

We've had them and have used them. Can we be trusted with them?

Every other country that has nukes understands mutually assured destruction, and the vast majority of people don’t view their own demise as a prize to win.

Iranians are retarded.

That’s pretty much it.

Its that easy. I have but only one upvote to give.

The reason some countries have nuclear weapons is because of one of the all-time great spies and Nuclear Physicist Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan. He stole nuclear secrets from Western European nations for Pakistan. Without Pakistan’s knowledge he then sold them to Iran, North Korea, and Libya.

China supplied some supplies to Pakistan and NK, but Khan was the reason Pakistan and NK have them. Pakistan doesn’t have ICBMs, so they don’t have long distance delivery system. NK has been working on one for years, but not even China will give them ICBMs. Putin might be Kim Jung Un’s chance to get his hands on a reliable ICBM delivery system.

They attacked Iran unprovoked

Well, this isn’t true. Iran has pretty much funded all the groups that have attacked Israel. Hamas, Hezbollah, etc.So, they certainly provoke.

IF anyone needs to see why they don;t trust us... Just look...

One year a guy is voted in.. makes a bunch of deals.. and 4 years later another guy is voted in and all the former deals go out the window.

Just ask anybody living in Afghanistan if they can trust the USA.

It has nothing to do with trust. If you're in the nuke club, you generally don't want new countries joining. It dilutes the power and prestige of the nuke club.

UK: Were a nuclear power!
North Korea: LOL, and? Whaddaya want, a cookie?

From someone who was a little over twenty in 1979, asking this question is equivalent to saying I am dumb.

And what prevents one of Iran’s Allie’s from smuggling in a nuke for their own use?
