This OP seems like a giant straw man argument. I don’t see anyone EQUATING abusing children to engaging in homosexuality.
What is true is that straight men are not attracted to post-pubescent boys, while homosexuals are, so the preteen and teen abuse of boys is by homosexuals.

Consider the relationship surrounding the allure of things taboo and perverse. Try looking through the lens of the hipster phenomena. I don't want to debate if homosexuals are born that way or are developed. That argument cannot be settled to anyone's satisfaction. However, no one can deny that there are a lot of sexual behaviors and appetites that are learned. The more society accepts as normal only serves to broaden the horizons of perversity and move certain behaviors out of the realm of "not acceptable" and into the realm of "taboo".....and taboo will always bring desire.
