Why are so many American people protesting Israel?

Hamas attacked the Gaza strip back in Oct. Murdered many people there. Israel in retaliation has bombed the shite out of Gaza to remove the Hamas from the area.
According to google(just trying to get an exact explanation)
"Hamas calls for establishing an Islamic Palestinian state in place of Israel and rejects all agreements made between the PLO and Israel. HAMAS' strength is concentrated in the Gaza Strip and areas of the West Bank. Hamas also means "violence". "
Why are people here protesting against Israel when the U.S. would clearly do the same i.e. 9/11?

There's certainly institutional opposition, the Islamic lobby would protest regardless, but Israel is also committing war crimes.

Lots of these views are started before college at this point. Through social media and friend groups.
Lots of these kids view everything through the lens of race and oppressor/oppressed.
Lots more like to jump on trendy things they see their friends doing or things that make them feel better because they think they’re standing up to oppression

Doesn't Israel believe in Jesus Christ(I know Jews dont associate him as being the son of God) and God while other countries around Israel believe in Allah? Is this why we are allies with Israel? Hamas are a bunch of radical Islamists? People here support this? Why haven't we leveled all of these unjust protest? You are supporting evil.
