Why are OnlyTrump fans so afraid of DeSantis?

You guys say It's Trump 24 and not even a race but at the same time are constantly on offense trashing DeSantis.

I thinks it’s the craziness from people clamoring for desantis when he hasn’t announced yet.
And some of these folks are t even going to vote for the Republican candidate regardless of who it is.
These are people that now circle jerk to hhtm threads. Very odd.
I always assume you get to the point of debating candidates when they are actually running.

I'm not afraid of him. I just don't think he can do what needs to be done going in in 24. DC needs a cleansing. Desantis won't be able to pull that off in the year and half he'll have after getting his feet wet, and then needs to start going around to get reelected.
I want scorched earthed Trump for 4 yrs then Desantis will work. Even with that plan he'll still be done with politics before he's 60yrs.
That's not fear, but a different strategic look at the situation.

Just like Trump didn't accomplish cleaning anything in DC? One candidate has tried and failed miserably. The other one is filling the oceans with the left's tears at every turn.

Agreed, and I’ll vote for trump a third time if he is the nomination. Having said that, I can still vote for him even thought he’s a whiney arse douche who won’t shut the frick up and has more drama than a high school girl? No matter what you want to say about trump and his antics, he is still better than soggy cereal brain and any of the ilk on that side.

And did you not read the next paragraph and understand what's a scorched earth Trump for 4yrs entails?...ie a Trump that doesn't have to worry about reelection and is more pissed now and knows how it goes now.

I love how “I voted for Trump twice” is used by DeSantites/Cruz Crew 2.0 to add validation to their opinions.
Like, congrats you voted for the Republican in the general? If you were pro Trump I’m August 2015 and prefer DeSantis that might mean something.

I wasn’t only Trump. I was a huge DeSantis supporter…. Until I saw who his mega donors were.
