Because the founders never envisioned a world where drug addicts would need taxpayer funded housing to defend themselves from their government...dumbass.

frick you. You want a house, SAVE YOUR MONEY AND BUY ONE. You don't get to have a house because you think you are entitled to one.

Spoiled little children....

" i make poor choices in life and can't afford a house like you have... I deserve what you have because i feel i do... "

What an oustanding form of government you have in your brain.

No, Im good. If all the other countries are so much better, then go there, but there is a reason people are literally dying to come here.

Ok you got me. I was thinking you might be serious with the line of questioning in this topic. Now I know you’re trolling.

There’s no way you can intelligently make this case. But I would LOVE to see you try. Please proceed.

No, this is how liberals think. They have ideas that sound right on its surface. We should have affordable housing.

We all agree the market is out of whack. But they offer no way to solve this other than federal government or do away with constitution because guns are bad.

As has been stated already, the Constitution does not grant rights to us. It limits the federal government's power.

Thank you for this. Since schools won't do it, I always emphasize with my kids that your constitutional rights aren't things granted by a government, they are rights that the government is not permitted address with laws in any way. "Congress shall make no law" is one of the most important lines in the bill of rights.

I can name several things NOT included in the constitution that we can get for free. Scholarships, food stamps, and in some cities free public transportation. So explain “affordable” to your 8 year old

1) My 8 year old is able to comprehend this better than you.
2) I have taught my 8 year old he has to earn what he wants. He doesnt' get things handed to him because he cries for it. He is learning that there is greater reward in working for a goal and attaining that goal, than to have his parents just give him whatever he wants. Your parents should have done the same with you.

Affordable housing advocates are essentially anti-work people on Reddit. It's all the same nonsense. They are against landlords because they say they are greedy and shouldn't make a profit. Work harder, get a better house/situation. It really does work for everyone no matter race.

Care to explain this?
This is the dumbest thing I've seen in a long time. This sounds like some communist talk.

No it doesn't, and you know it doesn't, which is why you can't explain the stupid shite you post.

Because rights are limitations on government action and nothing more.

You have the right to own a gun. The government doesn’t provide you with a gun.

Because when the construction was written the men of the time built ther own homes or paid some one to build there home for them.
Tell them to move to the woods and cut down some trees and make a cabin.

Or stop a million illegals coming in each year that tax our system freebies (medical, schools cell phones, travel expenses) put that funding into housing.
How about go after drug use and you will solve 75% of the homelessness.

They are perhaps the most free people.

White liberals already control everything OP, give us conservatives and minorities the right to bear arms and defend ourselves at least. We can’t afford any higher taxes to give everyone a home

Housing crisis? Whose responsibility is it to provide you with housing. Yours. If housing is too expensive, then you get a better job or move to where housing is cheaper.

Is the government regulating the cost of guns? So your premise is flawed from inception.

A double wide trailer brand new can cost as little as 40k. A person working 40 hours a week at $15/hr makes $31,200/yr.

Why does the government need to inject itself into a situation the free market has already solved? Poors just want free shite.
