FIFY.

You got the basic points in your explanation but money is essentially labor converted to transactional currency.

Stop voting Democrat. Housing is going to continue to rise because of a Democrat.

Living outside was also an option. Still is. Did we really need an amendment to give people the right to live outside?

“Native” Americans also lived in tents. It seemed a very do-able lifestyle.

If I wanted to make choices that enabled me to live in a cardboard box, why should I not be able to do that?

When the Constitution was written and ratified citizens built their own homes unless they were wealthy enough to employ carpenters to build it for them. DSLD did not exist at that time.

You can still do this.

OP thinks it should say life, liberty, affordable housing, and the pursuit of abortion and public sky-screaming.

I can name several things NOT included in the constitution that we can get for free. Scholarships, food stamps, and in some cities free public transportation.

This is clearly a troll, but for the benefit of readers who might not know the difference...

As has been stated already, the Constitution does not grant rights to us. It limits the federal governments power. The 2nd amendment is unique in that our founding fathers had quite a debate over whether it should be included. Not because there was a debate over whether they thought citizens should own firearms, quite the contrary. They thought that it was common sense that the right to bear arms was something that the federal government should not have power over, seeing as this very thing contributed to their winning the Revolutionary war.

But still, some of the smarter founders realized that this was something that would likely be challenged by the federal government later on, and decided to specifically state "Shall not be infringed" in order to make perfectly clear that the right to bear arms is paramount.

These other things you speak of are part of the legislative process. They are voted on and a majority must agree and the executive must sign in order to make them law. They are certainly not free and are funded by the taxpayers.

As for affordable housing. Government already tries to provide that. You can find it in almost any low income area of major cities. They are usually not well kept and I would wager that most whiny millennials complaining about affordable housing wouldn't want to live there.

Curious how many homeless people you have living with you right now? Or is this just an endeavor you feel is so important that other people should pay for it?

Yes we have currency so you don’t have to consume everything immediately.

I need some fur but all I have is corn. You don’t need corn rt now. How can we make this transaction. Oh I sold corn to people who needed and wanted it so I can take currency and exchange it for some furs I need and want. Then the guy selling furs now can go buy and consume what he wants.

Everyone wins.

This is a stupid question - and there is no need for anyone to devote a moment's notice to delve into whatever point you may have.

Plus, there are many countries where affordable housing is a right or at least they have solutions to afford homes (ex Germany). But i forgot yall only know about America here ??

You mean the Germany that now has unaffordable energy, while creating their dependence on Russian gas, so they can shutdown their nuclear powerplants, and go green. That German?
You can afford the rent but can't afford to heat it this winter. That Germany?
So now they have to have a "right" of affordable energy now. That will be subsidized by the tax payers. Is that the solution? The politicians create the mess so the taxpayers can pay for their mistakes.

C'mon, you can do it! You can move out of your parents basement. I know you're almost 35 and never had a job, but you still can do this!

The military will give you a gun for free and an all expense trip to suicide

But you do have to do something to receive that weapon. If you’re trying to equate that to receiving a home, joining the military will also result in being provided adequate shelter.

If you have a home, you can also use it to commit suicide (fire and carbon monoxide).

What point were you trying to make with this?
