I actually respect bending the company over when they're desperate for labor. Nice negotiating tactic.

The fun is only at the very beginning phrase.

My suggestion - learn to code, I mean learn to plant. (if you haven't figured out an alternative food source by now... well, you better hope they keep this Titanic afloat)

I don't think the Amazon takeover was good for the brand, but if you want to kill it this strike should work.

You going to bend over when that company raises their prices to cover the wage increases? That's how companies stay profitable you know.

When you're the most entitled grocery store clerk in America...

This is what happens.

They get paid $17 an hour where I live.

That's $10 over Federal minimum wage.

If my employees did this... I would just shut it down for a few weeks. Put the bank account on hold.

We will still have lots of jobs waiting to be done out in the filed when we reopen

I do as well. Risk is compensated in most other professions (power line technicians, as an example) - shouldn't be any different here.

Of course, I am sure some dumb arse labor organization is behind this, but for now, they have a point.

That didn't work too well for the folks in California who went on strike quite a few years ago. They were asking consumers not to cross the picket line and were promptly told to frick right off.

Stores like Trader Joe's and other independents saw an uptick in sales and it never went back down.

Whole Foods is overpriced anyway. Can't be thankful they still have a job and income, just give me more.

LMAO I'm not a sucker that overpays for groceries so Whole Foods raising their prices would never affect me.
