John Bel Edwards was totally fine with lockdowns and mandates. We know a whole lot more about Covid and shots than we did before. Lockdowns and Vaxxx mandates have NO PLACE in our society. Just say NO to John Bel Edwards.

Didn't he say this would be his last term?

I believe he did, yes. Regardless, he will do internal polling and if the tea leaves look grim, he will save himself the embarrassment of losing to a challenger and roll over into lobbying or wait for another gig to materialize.

Cassidy and Garrett Graves go to the same church in BR. Surely there is someone else.

Yep. That's why I said "if we could find someone with the appropriate credentials and experience".

I think many of us would be surprised who all is posting here under anonymous screen names.

Daydreams and shitposting are nice and all, but in the end, we need to find the best candidate and back the hell out of them to get Cassidy out. That's all that matters. Foghorn Leghorn has just about overstayed his welcome as well.

I don't think Graves will run if Cassidy doesn't retire.

Also, Cassidy only has the seat bc his wife wanted him to be a Senator. She'll be the determining factor.

In the history of Louisiana politics, I doubt that there has ever existed a more milquetoast and feckless politician.

Cassidy is fricking awful.

You must not be from Baton Rouge, because you were drinking fluoridated water as a child.

What about John Schroder?

I like him. Personally felt he was the best choice for Louisiana in the Gov race last year.

Question is:

1- Would he even want to try to mount the kind of statewide campaign it would take to have a legit shot at seat?

2- Would he even want the “prize” of having to basically live in Washington DC and put up with the complete clown shitshow that place is?

Also…how popular is Jeff Landry going to be in coming years with the current hard core conservative base? If he’s still viewed as “ultra MAGA”, like he was last year, and endorses someone (highly doubt it would be Schroder) in the closed primary, can any other conservative, whether Schroder or someone else, overcome that to make it to the runoff?

Demand Xan John to “Replace the RINO!” #XJ4USA America First!
Trump needs all the help he can get in Congress, We gotta get that RINO out and I get in there and help him so we can get this America First agenda implemented!
Can you believe Cassidy had the audacity to impeach Trump Daddy?!
Trump beat all the odds. And so will I! When I get in and put the power back in the hands of the People when I beat Cassidy in 2026. That RINO gotta GTFO!
Let’s go RINO Huntin!
