Stern isn't really even being canceled. His contract is up, he has been talking about retirement, and be barely works anyway. This shouldn't be a victory lap for the right.

dude's been on the radio for 40 years and made more money than anyone else in the history of the format. he's old now and radio is all but dead

The real perpetrators of the Trump/Russia collusion delusion.

People not keeping their jobs because they’re not generating enough revenue to justify their salary isn’t the same as canceling them.

What individual with a political leaning to the right of Stalin pushed for Stern to be "canceled"?

Rhetorical question that won't get an honest reply, if any.

Dude's contract is up. Not being renewed because he doesn't generate the revenue he once did to justify what he wants. That's not canceling anything.

I also highly doubt The View ever returns from its current hiatus. If it does, I believe they'll have a new panel of hosts, and possibly a new format.

I come home for lunch if I’m working close to the house to eat a bite and watch the local noon news and Bold and the Beautiful. Some days I would stick around and watch the first little bit of The Talk when it was still on air. What I saw of it was a tolerable panel based talk show that didn’t go off into the political weeds a whole lot- so it’s possible.

Disagree. He was solid for about 10-15 years from the early 90's to about 2005ish.

He wasn't for everyone, that's for sure.

So because people stopped listening to Stern years ago that makes a person progressive?

Your cancel culture is to just kill them now.

When Stern was on terrestrial radio and switched to SIRIUS he was averaging 20 million listeners. Now it’s down to a few hundred thousand.

I have Sirius XM & have had Howard Stern for at least five years with no extra fee like they used to charge. I assumed everyone got him now if you have it. Of course I never listen to him.

Good riddance.

Stern was a huge part of the normalization of vulgar entertainment. Society lost sight of what is beautiful and traded it for the constant vulgarization of society.

I'll agree he wasn't canceled, but like the Dixie Chicks and Bill Burr, he allowed his politics to be widely known and killed his career.

Some people really need to invest in better managers and PR people when they hit it big.

Leave politics and religion alone and just do your thing. How hard is that to understand?
