I’m actually shocked at how little people have learned since Covid. The party, president, and issue change, but it’s still the same. Lies, propaganda, manipulation, more lies, rinse and repeat. Every once in a while we’re thrown a bone but that’s about it.

The same war planning scenarios that said before we got started that there was less than a 10% chance we could achieve regime change with the assassination and aerial campaign we went ahead with.
Are those always right? Of course not.
But we lost north of 40k KIA and wounded in Iraq. Have you ever looked at the terrain there? It’d be mostly urban and mountain combat against a nation 2x the population of Iraq.
Say it’s 40-60k. Are you good with that to oust the mullahs? It would cost another $3T in case the body bags don’t tip the scales for you.

Even with all the warts, it's still beats the alternative.

Achieved negative net migration in 2025, reversing a 50-year trend and restoring U.S. control over immigration flows for the first time in a generation.
Removed more than 2.6 million illegal aliens from the United States through deportations and voluntary self-departures.
Carried out over 650,000 arrests, detentions, and deportations of illegal aliens — including the worst of the worst criminal illegal alien killers, rapists, gang members, and repeat offenders.
Deported more than 400,000 illegal aliens charged with or convicted of crimes.
Induced two million self-deportations by ending Biden-era release incentives and restoring credible consequences.
Reduced illegal border crossings to their lowest level since the 1970s, completely eradicating the Biden-era invasion.
Cut fentanyl trafficking at the southern border by 56%.
Permanently ended dangerous “catch-and-release” policies nationwide by detaining illegal aliens rather than releasing them into the interior — resulting in a 99.9% decrease in illegals being released into the country during the Biden era.
Maintained zero illegal alien releases into the country’s homeland for eight consecutive months, restoring deterrence at the border.
Declared a national border emergency on Day One, unlocking the authorities and resources needed to restore order — no new legislation required.
Deployed National Guard and active-duty military forces to the southern border to support enforcement and repel the invasion.
Immediately resumed construction of the border wall — with dozens of miles of new construction underway or already completed, including new border barrier projects underway in El Paso and the Rio Grande Valley — to safeguard the homeland against future invasion.
Reinstated the successful Remain in Mexico policy, ensuring would-be illegal border crossers are not able to wait in the U.S. with little consequence as they await the resolution of their cases.
Repurposed the failed Biden-era CBP One app from a mass-entry tool into a self-deportation facilitation mechanism.
Achieved a 99% year-over-year collapse of Darién Gap migration traffic, stemming the tide of illegal alien traffic directly at the source.
Revoked over 100,000 visas tied to fraud, criminal activity, or national security concerns.
Revoked visas tied to pro-Hamas agitators on college campuses, restoring safety, free speech, and American values to universities across the nation.
Paused visa processing for 75 high-risk countries pending enhanced security vetting.
Blocked more than 10,000 individuals with narcoterrorism or cartel ties from entering the country
Conducted 206 million benefits-eligibility checks to ensure taxpayer-funded programs serve Americans and lawful residents only.

The Pentagon reports that 13 U.S. service members have been killed and 381 wounded so far.

Imagine if that was your child. Regardless of their commitments when they join the military or not. I don't want to see one more single American life lost over this disastrous decision.
Economically, the looming global energy crisis sparked by this war with Iran continues to develop as inflation surges, gas prices soar, and Iran maintains control over the Strait of Hormuz. So what have we really gained at this point?
Worse, there are likely quite a few billionaires running around who are themselves making a lot of money off the current state of affairs.

On the international front...so far I'm happy.
On the domestic front, non-intl front effects, I'm still waiting for some of my key wants to come to fruition. Ie...halting h1b and refugee/asylum fraud and deportations. That's creating culture rot we need fixed.

Iraq lasted a lot longer and a different scenario.
You go from 100,000 to 40,000-60,000. I think you just pulled numbers out of your head and trying to paint a picture of impending doom.
350 US casualties resulted in the 1989 invasion of Panama which itself is very steep and mountainous. The invasion lasted week one month, one week, and four days.
I support whatever it takes to insure Iran never gets a nuclear weapon or harms another US citizen again.
For forty seven years we have suffered their attacks on our people, threats to the world, and fanatical promises to annihilate our nation and beliefs.
We are finally taking the proper measures to get rid of these religious lunatics, it should never have taken that long to do what we are now to do to stop it.
ETA- Re-elect Trump 2028 !

Me. Really not much of a decision. If I’m not standing with Trump, then I’m standing with America’s enemies.
(Yes, NoSiDeSgUyS, you stand with America’s enemies.

I have some reservations about the action in Iran.
But I don’t know enough to definitively say it’s the wrong course of action.
So, I’ll wait a hot minute and see. We are less than 6 weeks in.

Nah, Trump just doesn't suffer fools lightly.
He has no patience for fools.
When you get to be his age you'll feel the same way.

Well, apparently since we still can't get a boat thru a 30 mile wide waterway, without being sunk, its actually is NOT good enough.
Me personally, I'd drive a tanker thru. If attacked, I'd bomb bridges and any building large enough to hide launchers and drones.
Id do this for 5 days or so, and try another boat.

You mention the Islamic snake of Iran. Very true. But the snake must die for this all to be a victory. I'm holding out judgment until we are finished.

Who is not a panican? We ripped Iran a new a-hole and destroyed decades of their military build up but apparently that’s not good enough
Hezbollah’s Marines and Air Force were not destroyed. Both are highly trained speciality units. They are better trained, better equipped, and have better intelligence capabilities. They are just as well or better funded than the Iranian military.
They are not like conventional state supported military units. They are not state sponsored, so their bases are not just in Iran. Their Air Force has thousands of drones and anti-aircraft missiles.
Their Marine Unit is impressive and are mainly land based. They have Cruise missiles, land and subversive mines, subversive drones, and kamikaze boats.
Their reconnaissance units are better than most countries. They posses an elite reconnaissance drone program, they own civilian fishing companies that are used for reconnaissance, and oil platforms.

Ok if I upvote your thread, it looks like I'm agreeing with everything you said beyond the thread title. And I don't, because you took a simple question in the topic and then added a bunch of extraneous fodder and facetious nonsense in the follow-up.
If you're asking if I still stand with President Donald J. Trump? Yep, and unapologetically. But whatever the rest of that vrap is that you're rambling about, I'll leave that alone.

You quacks have to over index for muh immigration because it’s all you have left. It’s the only campaign promise that Trump is acting on. Even with immigration, he’s tripping over his dick at every turn.
