You nailed it. These people voted for feckless Republicans for years, but Trump does something they don't like, and they're ready to surrender.

The worst part is how much time and energy they spend trying to get Trump supporters to denounce him. It just screams insecurity.
They just can't fathom how we can still support Trump while only agreeing with him 90% of the time. It's all or nothing to them, just like progressives.
