I never understood the appeal of this even as a campaign promise.

Sure, it would be great if there weren't any wars, but why was the outcome of that war supposed to be a matter of vital American interest?

I'm with you. I just want clearly articulated goals and policies. Let us in on the secret. We pay for everything.

They’re friends

I'm very familiar with it. I DETEST Victoria Nuland.

If that's what the President is referencing, just tell us that. Why the chickenshit of "I will release the details later?"

Honestly, it seemed more like something he made up on the spot to justify suspending the sanctions in the law he signed JUST LAST MONTH. Why did he sign it if he thinks Russia's invasion was justified and Russia didn't start the war?

Call me old fashioned. I would rather our foreign policy not be based on the personality likes or dislikes of the President.

Ideally it would be a dictator for life type thing where Trump and Putin and gadaffi and Kim jong un and xi would hang out and clown on the countries with weak leaders

On the election board I predicted he’d end it 6 months into his term. Others said way sooner. It will last through his term.

At this point, I don't think the Ukraine war involves us

If you dont even know the basics of a situation, perhaps you should leave it to those they understand them to start a thread. You tossing out random guesses as to what is happening is hilarious

The discussion was worth it. I found our difference. You're an authoritarian who doesn't respect the Constitution. I'm an American.

You make ridiculous comments like this one, and then you act surprised that most posters here have figured you out.

Well, yea I guess one could claim that Putin technically started it, but Biden most definitely wanted and pushed for it. It wouldn't have happened without Pedo Joe.

True that. Thanks for the reminder. I probably am really naive about that.

The best we can probably hope for is an authoritarian who wants what we want to be president.

Presidents aren't remembered for their respect and adherence to the Constitution.

What's to figure out? I'm glad Trump is president...especially given the options.

I also think he is a raging narcissist who treats the federal government as if he owns it. He campaigned on the fact that he would run the country like he ran his businesses.

Pretty obviously, President Trump doesn't think he has any constraints on what he can do as president. He doesn't think he has to be transparent with the public. He constantly lies.

Most previous presidents at least gave lip service to acting as if they were constraints on their power. They felt they had to explain why they were doing what they were doing.

"I know the details about how the war started, but I'm not going to tell you peons...I will release those details later [spoiler alert: he's already forgotten he made that bogus promise]" is a perfect illustration that President Trump treats the federal government as if it were Trump Inc.

So out of everybody in this entire world, you actually believe that a guy named Donald Trump (who is know to never use email) wrote this?

That’s the part most have never understood. Spare me the Russia, Russia, Russia narratives… they are and always have been BS.

This is part of a massive geopolitical cleaving of the world’s major economies. Those pursuing green energy ideologies…. and those continuing economies and GDPs that are driven by petroleum energy.

Simply, the US has more in common with Russia and many of the BRICS.from an economic perspective. The world isn’t ready for the move away from petro unless and until a suitable alternative is adopted.

I believe the CIA was involved in the planning, if not the operational control during the run up to the war. It’s been a war of narratives since the US taxpayer money began flowing. There’s a reason it is referred to as World War Reddit.

I believe that plenty of US politicians enriched themselves in the untraceable fog of the Ukraine lack-of- accounting fiasco. I’m looking at you Pelosi caucus.

The EU countries and most of NATO are openly following the green economy ideology….. WEF, Build Back Better, open migration models. Poland is an example of an exception.

Simply look at Canada to see a recent example of the economic folly of pursing such a path … they are currently in a recession, and they it is about to severely worsen. Compare the GDPs paths of the US compared to Canada since their current government assumed control, under Trudeau beginning in 2014….. the gdp’s diverged dramatically compared to the continued growth of the US GDP.

These counties rightfully blame Trump for everything because he has exposed the socialist agenda at the heart of their deceptions.

But make no mistake, the average American is in no way prepared for the widespread pain under the green economic, socialist path … and Trump and Rubio understand this implicitly, as their actions clearly demonstrate.

I don't disagree with this. Why not be public about it?

Why didn't Trump just cut off all aid (including shared intelligence) when he and Vance humiliated Zelensky in the Oval Office? I thought that was finally the time we could get out of the supporting Ukraine business.

Why did Trump sign the Lindsey Graham sanctions law? Trump and Rubio can't be honest with the American people about what we are trying to accomplish?
