Who should be speaker in 2023?

Republicans will win in 22, despite any talk of Dominion.
With that said, who should be speaker, realistically?
Chip Roy should be considered also Andy Biggs and Jim Banks. Massie and MTG would be my first picks but I understand those are pipe dreams.
McCarthy has failed too many times as an effective leader. He doesn't know how to read the room right, and tries to pander to lame duck RINOs that should be getting kicked out of leadership and committee.
With that said, who should be speaker, realistically?

Doesn't matter it will be McCarthy.
Unless the Maga folks put up a fight and vote as a block ot will be McCarthy as he is most senior. Or the Rinos can go super establishment and select Liz Cheney

Jordan should be Speaker. McCarthy will win. Scalise should be the middle pick and cancel the Rinos and Freedom Caucus. Win win for the republicans.

He will wait until after the midterms to announce that he is running for Governor of LA. If he gets the speaker position, he would take that in a heartbeat over being the governor of a backwater state.
Hopefully, whoever had David Vitter’s recycled cell phone number did not give it to Scalise.
Otherwise Larry Flynt could be having another field day. Not saying Scalise is that type of person.

To answer your question, it will be McCarthy. Scalise would be next in line
